“There are some really messed up people here.” A sheepish smile crawled upon her face, her eyes darted towards Charlot. “Don’t worry, I’m not offended easily.” Her smile diminished as she began to walk over to Charlot. Scarlett took his writing hand in hers, flipping it over and examining it closely. “Oui, officially welcome to the cirque.“ With a somewhat sarcastic tone, she dropped his hand and stepped back a bit, waiting for him to personally discover the red long curly C that now crept across his palm. With her round face contorted, and brow furrowed, she apprehensively lingered on edge for his reaction. This was the worst part of the job, the emotions. “Security measures...” A measly explanation to set Charlot’s mind at rest. “But no, no more signatures needed.” Another goofy smirk replaced her crinkled brow. “Uhh, any questions?”

"Ah, that be a neat trick-" Charlot murmured, peering closely at his hand as the curley 'C' finished scrawling itself across his palm. It didn't hurt, just tingled a bit.
...security measures?
He shook his head, glancing back toward Scarlett with a smirk. "No, none a'tall. I guess I'll be goin' to find those sleepin' quarters now." He shifted around, gathering his things. "Thank you, Miz Scarlett."
He paused before reaching the door. "Oh, by th'way- d'you be needin' any 'elp with anything? As far as I know, I'm spose to do whatever needs done around 'ere.. so should y'need me-" He left it hanging in the air, waiting for a yes or no.

“Mm, fortunately I don’t have to be branded like that. My hands are full already” Scarlett sighed, positioning her imprinted hand over her face so Charlot could get a better look. “No one has ever offered personal help before...” A little boy toy wouldn’t be too bad to have around, an ‘assistant’ of sorts. “I may take you up on that offer...” She beamed; her appearance was becoming looser, less threatening. “You know, I do so much paper work, not to mention organize so many ‘events’ and go on stage.” She paused. ” It really takes a strain on me...” Dahli was going to kill her. “It would be nice to have an extra hand around here. I mean if you wanted you could be my personal assistant?” Scarlett’s eyes glimmered and grew wide, ahh taking advantage of the situation.

Charlot shrugged his shoulders. "Certainly, Miz Scarlett. I'll be around if you need me." He flashed a grin. "Consider me at'cher service."
He moved toward the door, figuring they were more or less through for the moment. If she wanted him to do something- she'd mention it... otherwise he had a place to find where he could sleep.

"wonderful." Scarlett nodded, beginning to prod through papers that were piled upon the desk. She paused a moment and called over her shoulder. "Have a good night, hope you don't have to resort sleeping with the elephants."
