Smiling down at Ash, Kazu nodded. "I guess we should," he said before putting her down. Heading into the cafe Kazu smiled at the lady working behind the counter.
"You can't wear those in here," a boy said, his eyes staring at the rollerblades on Kazu's feet.
"Well it's these, or bare feet.. Which would you like?" He asked, his smile still present.
Laughing the lady behind the counter waved a hand, "Let him keep them on," she said before smiling at Ash. "What can I get you two? We have warm beef soup and sandwiches as our special today," she said before looking to Kazu as he rolled up. "Whatever she wants, I'm buying."

Once she was back on solid ground, she ran a hand over her skirt to smooth it down and adjusted her coat and top before slipping inside the toasty cafe. She paused on her way to the counter as someone called Kazu out on wearing his skates indoors, and laughed a little at his easy reply.
"I'll just have some hot chocolate please," she smiled, needing to warm up inside as well as in. "And... I really don't mind paying," she smiled a little shyly at Kazu. She was never to sure of herself in these situations.

Smiling brightly, Kazu nodded. "I'll pay. If you don't mind though I'm going to get the special. I haven't had anything all day and I'm starving," he said with a light laugh. Everything about Kazu seemed real, like he didn't put on a face for anyone, every action, every laugh was what he meant and not a mask he kept up to hide some horrible plot or deep past.
Taking the tray of food after paying for everything, Kazu had gotten a hot chocolate as well after seeing Ashlyn drinking hers. "Where would you like to sit?" He asked, balancing the tray in his hand as he grabbed some napkins from a dispenser.

"I don't mind at all," she smiled, giving her head a small shake and watched him order his meal and her hot chocolate. Picking up her foamy drink, she sighed happily at the warmth cupped between her hands and waited patiently for Kazu to collect his meal.
"Over by the window? I like watching people," she smiled and started to take a step towards an open table by the window. "Would you like me to carry your tray for you? Just in case?" she offered, glancing back at him over her shoulder with her dark eyes. "Well... I guess that's a silly question actually," she laughed a little. "You're truly a part of the local BMX circuit? Is rollerblading your specialty?" she asked, setting her mug down and taking a seat.

"By the window is good," Kazu said following Ashlyn with an easy pace, "Thanks for the offer, but yeah I'm good," Placing the tray down first he sat down after. "I've had enough embarrassing falls to keep me from dropping my food." A blush almost seeped over his face, like he'd just remembered the fall he'd taken not but a few minutes prior to this moment.
"Well I don't mean to brag but I'm good at a lot of stuff. I love to rollerblade, skateboard, and participate in motorcross. I'm really good at that. Flying through the air and doing flips, now that's flying." He said before blushing. "Sorry I was babbling. I just really like doing that stuff. My mother thinks I'm crazy, but I think it's fun. Kind of like your pictures. I know loads of photographers who get hurt to get the right shot." Here he smiled before perking up some. "Oh oh! Do you want to come to the next run I have. I'll be blading again. I don't like the professional photographers very much and I'd love to have a friend out there."
