MY thoughts on the Elites/Sangheili?

I love Elites! In Halo 2 and 3, I made my character an Elite! Bad news is, I can't play because me and my brother don't have XBox Live renewed. And then in Halo 1, my account in the game was called "Master Elite". In Halo 2, I was "Arbiter".

Anyway, I love Elites. They are so cool looking -- Possibly the coolest-looking alien I've ever seen. I don't remember what I thought of them in Halo 1, but once I saw the first cutscene in Halo 2, I was in love with the Covenant. I don't care what people say, I liked the fact that Bungie showed us the Covenant side of the story. It made them a much more deep and interesting antagonist. And then the Elites turn to good guys! Yay! And the Arbiter! He's so awesome! I just love Elites, plain and simple. I can't explain why, but I love them. The fanfic I'm writing right now is all about the Covenant, and features a lot of Elite characters, all unique. In fact, I consider the Arbiter to be one of my favorite characters in the Halo trilogy, even though I like everyone overall. And, also, as a last thought, I loved that Halo: The Flood was written from the perspective of the Covenant. That's what got me interested in writing my own fanfic a few years ago, but I never finished it, and ever since I saw H3, I started this new fanfic about the Covenant. So fun.....

So that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it! mrgreen

Well in halo 2 elites are weaker and easy to headshot them but now in Halo 3 you got to hit them in the brain not like halo 2 that you shot them in the mouth or the eye and it counted as a headshot,NO now its harder to give them a headshot as for Spartans you just shoot them in any part of the head and it counts as a headshot.They both look awesome now in Halo 3.I still prefer Spartans tho.^ ^

The ones who said elites suck well they gotta see the way the Arbiter helped Master chief in Halo 3.

Though the multiplayer elites were bigger targets in Halo2, I still used them in land parties and on live. My rank, at the time, of thirty two says that it wasn't too much of a handicap. But with the new balancing of the characters, I might just be able to achieve a greater rank. Maybe.

i got Halo 3 befor it came out over here... that because im good and i have to say the elites are way better in halo 3 than they are in halo 2. mainly becuase in halo 2 there heads stuck out like a turtal now there heads are better placed also you have to get a more accurate aim on them. biggrin

But i still stand for spartans..

I would like to state this quite clearly. Elites Rule, and even if they are margianally easier to kill, than I'd say that it'd take more skill to survive, and therefore are a higher skilled body than a spartan. -ChronicSkye (Xboxlive account)

spartan, elite it dont matter and for the hit misses if your good enought it shouldnt matter.but in my opinion elites are prttey bad a** at least the way the look

dude elites are freaking awsome even though i left myself as a hyubusa spartan they are still awsome, CHU SUCK IF U HATE THEM >:O

SPARTAN II are the best compared to Elites

I can't distinguish any differences between the Spartan IIIs and the Sangheili "Elites" other than the obvious. the obvious being that they're different races. The Elites and the Spartan 3s both have the ability to use optical camo whenever they please. Thus, I think i like the Elites better than the Spartan IIs or the Spartan Is because there isn't a game in which the charecter played is a Spartan III.
(and those whom have read Halo Evolutions know that there was a new kind of Elite around, with rainbow colored armor, optical camo, and dual energy swords. kinda like the SpecOps of the Covenant because they were deployed in groups of 5-6)
