If Vian noticed her awkwardness he didn't seem to mind. He meerly smiled a little and gave his head a small shake, "No...I lived in the desert for a long time with my family. But after my sister disappeared our family was hard pressed to stay together...and eventually we sort of separated. That's when I truely start to wander." He tilted his head to the side slightly, genuine interest in his eyes, "What about you? I can't imagine so, with that little one but..."

She watched him softly, eyes lidded ever-so-slightly until he looked towards her, where she abrubtly looked down to her paws. His question however, brought her eyes back up towards his, and she blinked slowly and steadidly while thinking over her answer.
"I started off alone, following the winds and letting them guide each step I took through life. It was the winds that brought me to the Pridelands, where they always swrilled around the rock and kept me secure. Things didn't work out there for long, but I will never take back my cubs, they are my everything, even if the way they came was why I got...my scars..." Her last sentence was a whisper, clearly showing she didn't want Kikore to hear.
"I left again when the winds came to be too much...and here I am..." With no idea why she said all that, her voice died out and she just looked to the side, as if ashamed. Kindred spirits gave her the confort to say why, but maybe it was getting to be too much.

Genuine empathy shone in his eyes and he nodded sadly, "I see...I'm sorry for your pains, though glad of your joys." He let his gold gaze slide to where her cub was sleeping. It was good that she did not regret her children, for no life should be taken for granted. And all children needed the love of their mother. Any lesser feelings from either parent would scar any child. "So where are you headed now...?" He questioned openly. He didn't seem to mind if she had an answer or not, though his interest and concern was obvious along with his charming smile.

She looked at him with a smile as he said that, clearly relaxing by the sink of her shoulders, before taking a soft breath. Her gaze followed his towards Kikore as she thought over the question and what her next steps would be.
"I wish to go somewhere safe, where I may raise my son to know the ways of the rogue, but not quite live them..." She told him softly, before glancing back towards him, "Any suggestions?"

Vian tilted his head in thought, his tail swishing form side to side, "Mm...I'll admit, my first thing to suggest would have been the place you came from. And I haven't been too careful on looking for places like that but..." He paused for a moment and said, "I remember hearing in passing of a nice place in the jungle, one that had strong family and comminity values. Apparently one of their priests wanders and he can lead others there. I've also heard of a pride by the sea if that fits what you need." He shook his head in apollogy, "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I'm not much help, am I?"

She smiled warmly and shook her head, "No no, you have been a great help, I know both those locations, though had no idea there were prides there. I think, however, I will head south, the sea is far and save, and I am sure my son would like it there..."
Seeing his head peak out, she shook her own again with a smile before turning back to Vian, "Thank you, I treasure the knowledge you have passed onto me..." The tone sounded like a goodbye, and indeed it was, she needed to move on.

Vian took the hint. She needed to be on her way. And in truth so he did he. "I wish the both of you luck," He murmured sincerely. He smiled at the young boy in the bush and then at his mother before giving a small nod. He turned slightly and began a good paced walk to take him north, the opposite direction they had been going. Perhaps they would meet again one day.

She smiled softly as he moved on, before turning her eyes back towards her cub. Padding over softly, she lifted him up into her maw a second before making sure he was ready.
"Goodbye Vian!" She called out louder, tail swinging as a smile shone in his direction before she readied herself south, towards the sea.
