I personaly dont believe that having a different...um...preferance should exclued (sp?) you from everlasting life. People have many choices that dont effect others whatsoever.

"Love is Blind" If we do whatever we want about our life, and we are going to ignore God's ways.. then what does it matter if we are christians or not?

it's a matter of repentance, if you steal something and ask for forgiveness, than do it again strickly based on the fact that "the last one doesn't matter anymore" where would you be going with it but running in circles?

well....what many do is use Gods grace as a liscense to sin. They think...Hmmm God forgives me so that means I can do what I want and just ask for forgiveness in the end.....
thats wrong. When we are truely saved God changes us from the inside to the outside. he gives us new desires...godly desires...and if we stumble, hes there to put us back on the path of righteousness.
But if we live in sin and relish it...then we know not God.

and just as all sins, some people are just naturally like that. like they have it in their system. god understands.

Well, part of the deal is when you find God, you have to put him first in your life. This means that if you are with some one of the same sex, in the revelation of knowing God, you now know that this is a sin and you will have to give this person up. It is a considerably smaller sacrifice than what God himself did for us. I don't mean to sound harsh here... I can't imagine giving up the guy I love, I'm just stating whats there...

What I find interesting is how they have gone through the same ridicule and forsaking as Christ. In the past, many have either killed themselves or been beaten by their parents and schoolmates, regardless of their own accomplishments or contributions to society.
I do not believe homosexuality to be hedonism (which is generally where sin stems), but rather a different bond between two adults, so long as they are not promiscuous. And that's why, even as a Catholic, I do not believe them to be sinning.
