Verdad snorted. She didn't want to converse with lions like Ahaiyuta but there was no one else around. Her eyes once again were dull with fear as he stood over her. She wasn't enjoying this at all. She didn't want to be small anymore. His growl scared her even more. No one had ever growled at her but somehow she resisted curling up in the ball that made him say such horrible things before.
"I don't have a problem. My brother's a brat...not me."
A sigh of relief sounded when he stepped away. Still frightened, Ver drew circles in the dirt. "No..."

"Oh? Just you and my sister then?" -He snorted unpleasantly, tail lashing back and forth as his mind whipped in circles.
But finally only one thought remained, and he gave her her silent wish, stepping further away, intent on slipping back into the grasses and heading off to find something more entertaining to do.
But first thing was first. Pausing at the grasses he called back matter of factly.- "You're not good enough to play with my brother. Your stupidness will rub off on him."
-And almost threateningly he added, letting that growl play on his throat once more before his eyes turned before him once more.- "You'll be sorry if you do."

Verdad felt tears well in her eyes at his words. She couldn't just stop seeing Matsai. He was dear to her in many ways. His stupid brother just had to come and wreck it all. She kept her head to the ground as he stepped away from her, ears pressed flat against her skull. Was she really not good enough? Would he really end up acting like her if they were around eachother too much?
She bit her lip to hold back her tears until he spoke again. All the pent up emotion inside her bubbled in her stomach.
"I'll see him whenever I want..." She spoke softly to herself too solidify the promise even though it was shielded from his ears. Matsai was her friend and she would see him whenever she damn well pleased. Brother or not.
