"Me too!" Aerith said, grinning and nipping at his ear. "There's pillows, and sheets, and he's bringing us dinner and everything!" she said with amazement. I could get used to this... she thought. But the grin quickly faded from her face. "But...where's Kefka?" she said, and instantly she was puzzled. If Kefka had been taken by the Princess...and their room was next to the Queen's...then the Princess' room must be somewhere nearby, right?
Snatching up a pillow with her tail and thwapping Rune lightly with it, she smirked and nodded. "Tonight we'll go looking for Kefka. For now, let's just let this Vanguard guy do all the work. After all, we are," she said, holding her head high and trying to look as royal as possible, "Jivvins."

Smirking slightly, Rune stretched out and flexed his paws. "Kefka? Oh, you mean Keffy! I say to just leave him here; it wouldn't do him any harm, after all. He could use a little relaxation, like us." He smiled, closing his eyes, awaiting his dinner.
"It's nice here..."

Aerith giggled helplessly. "Yeah, it is. We could just stay for a while and leave Kefka. Little thing is kinda creepy, after all," she mused, nibbling on his ear. She didn't know why. It was just fun. "How long do you think we should stay until we decide to vamoose?" she asked through a mouthful of ear. "We have to get back at some point, I heard my sister talking about something important..." she trailed off.
"I'm not sure what it was, but it was important." She giggled again. She couldn't help herself, she felt so...light!

Stiffening, Rune straightened up, glancing at himself. He was taller, and more sturdy than he had been.
"Wait... how long have we been here?" He looked at Aerith, starting to knead his feet. It sounded, from Aerith, that they had been there longer than it currently felt...

Aerith blinked at him a moment, tilting her head. She looked down at herself. She looked...different? "I...I don't know," she said, getting to her feet. She spread her wings. They were so much larger! When had she grown so much?! But surely they'd only been there a couple of hours! Things couldn't have changed that much! And yet, she was no longer adolescent...she felt very tall, strong, beautiful. Very much different from the child she had walked in as.
"Perhaps time passes at a different rate here than it does in the present," she said slowly, keeping her voice calm. No need to freak out. All they had to do was go...maybe pick up Kefka on the way. Wait, Kefka! "If we've changed, then what's happened to Kefka?" she asked, her voice a little quavery.

"I don't know, but I don't want to stay and find out." Shaking his head, he nipped Aerith's ear lovingly, and bounded off the bed. "Now, I remember... we've been here a while, and the man has been gone..." His ears perked up, and he grinned at his hat.
"Well, do you want to go?" He asked Aerith, bowing briefly in respect to a lady.

Aerith giggled, quirking a brow with an amused smirk. "Indeed I do," she said, and leapt elegantly from the bed, hovering a little longer in the air witha slight flap of her wings. She landed quietly and went to the door, nudging it open and peeking out down the hallway.
"Coast is clear," she said with a grin. "Shall we?"

Nodding, Rune followed without a word, right beside Aerith's side. Glancing in front of him, he smiled, picking up the pace. "We're almost there;" He murmured softly, keeping his tone low.
