(( Do you want to roleplay getting the beads, or do you just want me to give them to you? ))

Tayte, his pride injured, chriped pitifully at the older Aerandir.

"Oh, no, I have no other plans at all!" Doris reassured her, "I'd be happy to get you some beads. I rarely use the ones that I have, anyway. I bought a whole bunch once when I wanted to try making jewelry, but knitting is much more my thing." She chatted.

(( I don't mind, we can RP them out too ^^ 2 or 3 more posts could be the end of the rp. ))

Pueblo smiled fully at Tayte before turning back to Dorris.

"Alright, then lead the way," she expressed, lining up behind Dorris. Stretching her wings out, she prepared herself for another walk. This was her chance to view Ar'Idil better and maybe learn her way around. "I don't come here very often," she confessed, feeling it better if that was known.

Tayte pretended to ignore the older Aerandir's smile, and instead of reacting to her, continued to preen his wings.

"Just let me grab some sugar, and we'll be on our way." Dorris said cheerfully, making her way to the kitchen and digging through the cupboards. Quickly and efficiently, she measured out the amount that she knew she'd need for that new fudge recipe and added a cup extra - just in case. "I'm afraid it's a bit of a walk. I have one of the farthest cottages from the Lodge. But it's a pleasant day out there, if not a little hot." As she chatted nonchalantly, she held out her arm for Tayte, who then climbed up and returned to his perch on her shoulder with a friendly cheep for Pueblo, all bad feelings already forgotten, as Doris continued talking. "I always run out of sugar, and Tayte hasn't had good excersize in weeks -not that I consider riding my shoulder excersize, mind you- and I thought I might as well take him out for a little air and get the sugar while I was at it. I'm trying a recipe that was absolutely splendid! Maple and Brown Sugar Fudge. My daughter had it served at her wedding reception recently, and I simply fell in love with it! Do you like fudge? I think it's one of the greatest snacks ever created." Doris pushed open the door and held it fo rPueblo to go through first.

Pueblo swiftly and quietly followed Dorris to the kitchen, but waited at the door to give her more room. "Even though I have wings, I still enjoy walks," she assured the woman. Pueblo rose a brow at Tayte, curious how fast he was to forgive. She really hoped he didn't remember this by the time he was a child.

Pueblo's brain ran to keep up with Dorris' vocabulary. What was a wedding reception? And what was fudge? Her head was tilted in a curious manner, falling back to her owlish ways. "I haven't had fudge before," she said almost sadly. If it were one of the greatest snacks ever created, how could she miss it?

As the door was pushed open for her, she waited for a moment before she realized. Stepping out, she paused for Dorris to lead; she didn't know where they were going! Maybe it was some old human tradition? She shrugged it off and smiled, then started to follow again. As they begun to walk, Pueblo soon realized that she would have to slow her pace half a step if she didn't want to lose Dorris. No matter, it didn't hender her from enjoying the scenary.

"What?" Dorris gasped almost comically. "You've never had fudge before, dear? Oh, my heavens! We'll have to do something about that, now won't we?" she smiled broadly. "I do believe I have some almond fudge left over from my last batch..that is if David hasn't eaten it all. You can have what's left and take some home to your guardian."

Tayte, finally deciding that excersize was in order, leapt from his guardian's arm and scuttled along beside them, sniffing plants and occasionally falling behind to dig up some root or other, then running to catch up.
