Lyane looked at Ramajan's friendly gesture and replied with a scrowl. "That's alright, I think I can do this myself. " Then, playfully she added, "You know, I'm not THAT short."
As more people came into the room Lyane observed the new girls. Although she was distracted by Rose who was calling to the crowd's attention. She turned her head to the stage and listened. But her attention was caught by the people around her. The hostiltality between Shima and Ramajan, the cheerfulness on Shima's face when she looked at Kayla, the conserved Arahila...It seemed everyone knew each other already. Lyane sighed, and regretted not visiting the training groud beforehand.

Arahila blushed deeply at the repremand from Rose and the man besdie her. It hadn't been directed at her but there was a part of her that tended to think that everything was. Shaking it off she waited patiently for something to catch her interest. Crossing her legs and rearranging the skirts that she wore she suddendly wondered if she should have worn clothes more suitable to her new profession.
Too late now... she thought and shrugged off the idea that her skirts were out of place. She reamined sitting and watched the others with a few curious glances, but mostly continued to keep to herself.

Kayla had smiled at the semi friendly if curt red haired boy, her attention flickered between getting over to the others and listening to Rose and a man who's name she didn't know. She grinned at the thought of drama class, it was so much easier to act a part than to be herself, not that she didn't like herself she simply wished she could find her inner courage and be as out going as the others.
She returned Shima's wave and grinned at the girl, she was certain that in tiem everyone would be reprimanded at some point or another for something Shima was just unlucky enough to be first.

Ramajan's mouth tilted up in an amused smile. Maybe she thought she was being clever. In his eyes the statement simply lessened her, it was an admittence to speaking falsely.
When Lyane scowled, he thought she truly was angry at him. But when she added her playful statement, he hoped it meant she'd only been teasing before. He looked about to say something, but grew quiet when Rose spoke to them.
He listened attentively, but to himself thought she was being a bit hard on the balance issue. Were they all supposed to have eyes in the back of their head? His attention shifted to the man and his stomach did a small flip while those jr. high and high school insecurities about his own acting ability surfaced again.

Hmm.. Shima got an idea!
Whispering the idea to Kayla but loud enough for everybody but the teachers to hear, she said cheerfully, " How about we throw a party within a week or so? It'll be a party that celebrates all the new people like us. We could do it when we dont have any classes. And by next week, there might be a whole lot more people we havent seen yet. "
Shima thought it was a great idea. What better then a party for the new people? They could hold it in the dorms or something, if they could get permission. Video games, pizza, and just a friendly party.
But first. Concentrate on the class.
Werent they supposed to meet ALL their new teachers? Not just the strict ones? Shima sighed, looking around at the small crowd.
(( They havent introduced each other yet, have they? O; ))

Lyane blinked at everyone, then turned to Shima.
"I'm all in for the party." She smiled brightly, and could hardly surpress her excitement. She cared less for teachers, since she had a full degree of confidence in herself that she'd do well and impress everyone else in the class since...well, she was very smart. Although, Lyane could never resist any forms of fun, be it sports or parties.
She eagerly looked at everyone else, wondering what others think. A party would not be any fun if there weren't a lot of people, after all.

Ramajan's hands were suddenly plunged deep into his pockets to keep him from fidgetting. A party? He hadn't done many parties in school, mostly due to lack of invitation but even those he knew about he avoided because of school work. But they'd only just begun, there'd be nothing to stop him... except...
Why had she been the one to suggest it? He didn't want to make eneimies on the first official day, but there was just something about her that rubbed him wrong. He already knew that unless he was invited by one of the others that he probably wouldn't go. Why were there so many girls anyway? He felt the odd one out.

((On dear....poor little shy and conservative Arahila is going to have a hard time around those two. eek ))
Looking out of the corner of her eyes at the two girls talking about a party she fidgeted slightly.
A party? I wonder if I'm invited...or if I should go if I am...
Arahila was barely comfortable around people she had just met, but a whole group of them? She hadn't been in very many social situations in her life so she wasn't sure how to handle a lot of it. She had talked to a few people here already and interacted a little but nothing outside of her comfort zone like a really big party. It's not like she was a social person, even at this "Meeting" she was off to the side and a little away from everyone else.

 Kayla looked thoughtful for a moment then nodded " A party sounds great and waitng a bit for more of us is a good idea. As long as he's invited too Matty will probably let us have it in the Caf. " A party would bee a good chance to get to know and observe others. On top of that it would be good to unwind after having a weeks worth of classes.

Seeing Lyane's excited expression, Shima grinned. She bent over, her violet locks flowing over her shoulder. Yay~ There was somebody who shared her interest of parties. Looking at Arahila and Ramajan, they looked sort of awkward. Good for Ramajan. Bet he's one of those awkward socials. Good for him. Shima didnt feel the least bit guilty for thinking that thought. But she liked Arahila.
" All the trainees are invited to celebrate. Unless.. some people are just too darn busy with the classes we'll probably be getting soon.. But I'm sure they'll give us breaks so thats probably when we can have it. Meeting all the trainees will be cool. Some probably couldnt come today. " Shima said pondering in thought, turning around as she tried to focus on the teacher once more.
" Choosing all the toppings on the pizza would be difficult. " Shima said to herself, knowing people liked alot of different toppings.

In the Caf? That solved the problem of an invitation, it was much easier to eat there then anywhere else so he could just show up without feeling akward.
He wondered if there would be any other announcements for today or if they'd meet any other instructors. He took a small step away from the group of party-planning girls to try and get a better look around to see if there was... he didn't know, just something else to do beside standing around and being uncomfortable.

Rose cleared her throat and spoke again " Since it seems none of you have any question for your instructors you are free to leave. Sign ups for our first production Frosty the snowman will be going up shortly. Roles will be minimal but still worth going out for. That is all."
