Mission Plan: Post in the Believer’s forums and other anti-G.I.B. organizations (please post any others you find in here so we can try to make peace there as well) and clearly state our positions with the aliens. Something along the lines of the following would be acceptable. Also, discuss with them why they should trust the G.I.B.

Also, non-members of the G.I.B. have been claiming they are members to porously give us a bad name, so if you see an “agent” bashing on the aliens, it is even possible that they are not even an agent at all.
In conclusion, we are sorry that you have been misinformed of our purpose. We want to help, not hurt. We sincerely hope that you can trust the G.I.B. from now on, and we offer our hand in alliance if you’d be willing to do so.

You present quite a clear case here, yet I have to point out - Nowhere in our mission statement has it been said that we as a group show any negative views towards the GIB, or any orginization, for that mater. Of course, the members are free to believe in they wish, but I don't allow unjustifiable hate towards any orginization in PETU. Unless, of course, their sole purpose is to distroy. Even then, I hope to keep anger back to a minumum, and peaceful resolutions higest on the agenda. I accepted quite a while back that the GIB deemed us "acceptable", and didn't rebuke the offer of trust.
While I don't believe forming any alliances with the GIB is too necessary for PETU - we both seem to have quite different aims - I accept that you do indeed work under a solely defensive cause. I also accept, however, that there are too many GIB members and mock-members who have proven themselves rogues of this cause. Because of that, PETU remains neutral with the GIB. But honestly, there's no mistrust from me. It's a quite large orginizaton, and thus hard to keep all the members in check. I only hint that maybe you should have been more careful with member acceptances to begin with...
