Top Speed Mach 5.33
Ceiling Unlimited, Capable Of Atmospheric Exit

Gross Dimensions:
Height 3.72 meters
Length 14.92 meters
Wingspan 14.28 meters
Weight 13.95 metric tons

Power Systems:
Nakajima/P&W/Rolls Royce FF-2011 fusion turbines (2): max. unboosted output 140 kN each (boosted, 275 kN each).

P&W HMM-1A high-maneuverability vernier thrusters.

Assorted small reaction thrusters and gyroscopes for all-environment maneuvers, attitude adjustment, and stability

Weapons Systems:
Oerlikon EP-13B1 three-barreled 80mm particle gun pods (2), firing 170 rounds per minute in full automatic mode, also capable of firing all three barrels simultaneously in semiautomatic mode at approximately one shot per second. This weapon fires 8.2 MJ pulses per barrel in each mode.

MCHS-4 Recessed covered conformal missile bays on the upper (4) and lower (6) engine pods and the lower forward hull section (2) can contain:

2 Oracle missiles
or 4 Little Rock missiles.

FAWT (Fuel And Weapons Tactical) space pack mounting points (4): are located on the underwing and overwing joints between wings and engine pods. Each attachment point can carry a combination fuel tank/conformal missile bay, but the pack is not compatible with atmospheric flight. The additional tankage suffices for 5.6 kps delta-v. Each missile bay can carry:

2 Derringer missiles.
or 1 RMS-2 "Angel Of Death" Nuclear Stand-off missile.
or 1 Firebird missile.

There are 2 inner-overwing and 2 outer-underwing hardpoints. The inner hardpoints can only be used if the upper FAWT-packs are not mounted. These hardpoints are generally used for specialized weapons that do not fit into the FAWT-pack missile bays or in an atmosphere. Each hardpoint can carry:

1 MER (Multiple Ejector Rack) for two Derringer missiles. These missiles have a range of 70 km (A variant) or 130 km (E/F variants) and a speed of Mach 3.0, guided by a combined optical, IIR, and active radar seeker.
or 1 RMS-1 "Angel Of Death" Nuclear Stand-off missile. A reaction warhead (200 kT) mounted on a long range (293 km) Mach 4.0 combined multi-spectrum imager and active radar homing missile and a preferred ordnance for anti-starship missions. Maximum delta-v is 5 kps.
or 1 Firebird missile. A conventional warhead mounted on the frame of a RMS missile with a range of 234 km and a speed of Mach 6.5, guided by a combined IIR and active/passive radar seeker. Delta-v in space is 4.0 kps.

Shinsei Industries F-202 Apollo Aerospace Optimized Heavy Fighter
User Image
Vehicle Type:
Heavy Aerospace Combat

Crew:
Pilot

Mobility:
Flying Speed 4288 kph
Ceiling Unlimited, Capable Of Atmospheric Exit

Gross Dimensions:
Height 1.7 meters
Length 11.5 meters
Wingspan 12.5 meters
Weight 21.75 metric tons

Power Systems:
Two Constantine Aerospace FE-108 fusion turbines, total engine output 220 kN total at max. power; 437 kN are available with over boost. Exhaust nozzles allow for vector thrust, serving in place of conventional elevators. System includes two reverse-vernier thrusters, on blisters outboard of each intake; exhaust comes directly from main turbine at a maximum of 20% thrust.

Four Helpina VT-19 high-thrust vernier thrusters, one on the ventral in fighter mode, three in the 'backpack' in Guardian and Battroid modes.

Eighteen P&W LHP09 low-thrust vernier thrusters distributed around the aircraft; three on each engine block/leg, two on each arm, two on the nose cone, two on the 'backpack', and four on the torso/fuselage.

Vernier vents in the wings, as part of the aircraft's space roll control.

Assorted gyroscopes for all-environment attitude adjustment and stability.

Weapons Systems:
HERG-01 Heavy Electromagnetic Rail gun (1); firing 2000 rounds per minute, 5000 round capacity, stored in the rail gun itself and the armor pack mounted to the top of the mecha. Ammunition is a mix of KP (Kinetic Penetrator), and KPI (Kinetic Penetrator Incendiary).

Mauser RsV-50 laser canons, firing 6mj every second (2); there are one mounted on each side of the cockpit.

BC-60 60mm Triple-Barreled Rotary Particle Beam Gun Pod, firing 230 rounds per minute in full automatic mode, also capable of firing all three barrels simultaneously in semiautomatic mode at approximately one shot per second. This weapon fires 6.2 MJ pulses per barrel in each mode, with its own dedicated capacitor banks in the 'magazine'. This weapon folds up into a perfectly slim almost torpedo shape that can be mounted on wing hardpoints, and on the bottom of the fighters this also allows it to reduce drag in atmosphere and easier storage for larger amounts on bases and ships.

Wing mounted Hardpoints (6); for ordnance, three are mounted under each wing, unfortunately due to the way the wings are built and the hardpoints mounted to the wings they can only carry the thinnest of missiles and are totally unable to use MERs or carry bombs which precludes the Hammerhead from being used as an attack fighter. Listed below are the most common missiles carried.

AIM-9 Side Winder Medium Range Air To Air Missile
AIM-120 Slammer Medium Range Air To Air Missile
AIM-125 Dagger Long Range Air To Air Missile
AGM-65 Maverick Medium Range Air To Surface Missile
AMM-1 Stiletto Short Range Anti-Mecha Missile
