Graphics aren't the thing thats makes the game. Its the storyline. Lately games are competing in graphics only. crying I miss when they used to compete for the story line. Games these days are getting shorter and shorter. They're using real actors to make graphics these days. *huggles old time graphics* The provide me with so much more warmth ad comfort I want crappy graphics. I LOVE CRAPPY TYPE GRAPHICS. eek Forgive me for caps I couldn't control mysef.

you know i have to admit that the older games were ,in my opinion, much better with the storyline and character development. with that said though i would have to say the newer games, FF7 was a breakthrough for the FF series Graphically and well there are some nice new games such as FFXI that has pretty nice gameplay and graphics.

i believe the older ff have better storylines and puzzles but there are exceptions like ff10 which had gd graphics, good storyline and puzzles

Graphic wise, the newer ones are those which is more appealing to the public eyes. But the ones I like so far is Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy XII. But really, pixels will always own my heart, no matter how great the graphics are in future projects.

One Smug Little Panda! I love the graphics in the new ones, so I enjoy playing them a little bit more than the older FFs. But for storylines, I'd definitely play the oldies like 7 and 8. if you consider oldies 7 and 8, you have to be like 11.

True, the older games had much better story lines, but I much like the graphics of the new ones...but most of the characters looks os stupid!

Eh, Wakka did look pretty stupid, but I love most of the character designs! The old characters were pretty too, though, even if you couldn't see them very well most of the time...

Yeah. In my opinion, FFVII has the best storyline so far from what I've played, and the graphics weren't very good, but they were 3D. To me graphics don't matter as much, but I like graphics like VIII, where they're good - but not realistic-good.
