Chaotic AngeI Ok I found out a little while ago that if you get a sex change, on your passport and your lience it stays that your were once and female or male depending on which one you were before. I think it's rather supid I mean in all sence of the word you have become the opposite sex, why should your photo I.D. Tell that you WERE this one but if you look I'm NOW this one. I find it stupid that you have to do that. Anyone got some ideas or a way to find out if this is still in effect. I'd like to think I know about this...
Each state has it's own laws. So to be CERTAIN, look them up for your state province etc.
But generally after a sex change it is VERY necesary to have your birth certificate chaged to your desired sex, then you can get your liscence changed, and then on your legal records you are from then on female...Name changing laws as well are a seperate but...whatever.
I do believe I have neveer heard of anything stating "in the past I was male, but now I'm not!" It just shows the change, and most intelligent people would get a knew photo for their I.D.
Hope that was clear
Oh and the body can't REJECT a sex change...
The boobs are grown with hormones. If propperly monitored by a doctor hormones are likely to never affect you, and actually seem to only pose a threat to your heart. If someone got breast cancer it's possible the increased activity in the cells might have helped the odds, but I have seen no study say that it is a definitive increase for cancer. It's still naturally grown. And implants are still different all together...
The genitals are also physically reconstructed, so that's not gonan get "rejected" maybe if baddly done or poorly taken care of you can damage the work.
Oh and again in name changing literally you are chaning your legal name, but if people look into your past they'll see the legal change to know your old one before it. A legal change is exactly that. It's the only one you need.
The only issues is that legally your records of the old days don't change, so if they go back they're gonna see the old name, sex and everything. So it's provable, but it's not gonna say that on your liscence.

/It's just a phase/
Someone brought up a point about people getting sex changes who had been wanted by the police before.
I think that this might be a reason for this. Otherwise, I'm not sure. It could also be that it's too much of a hassle to change all the paperwork, or that they're keeping the old data just in case it's ever needed.
/It's got to pass/

i think that if you get a sex change you'd want it to be discreet. i mean maybe not everyone would keep it hush hush but some wouldn't want it known by everyone. it shouldn't be a public matter it should be your own choice. i personally would never chop it off, id kill myself. but i have friends who have or will have it done.

Unlike gay people you can ussualy find visual distinction of who a tranny is. Though now that they're passing better and better they want to be able to keep tabs and make sure EVERYONE KNOWS.
To my knowledge you can change your birth certificate and driversliscence. At certain point you are allowed to legally switch your sex over. I can't remember if the whole "was ONCE a man" thing is actually being implemented yet.

So, what, they're more dangerous than a straight person? As far as I'm concerned, it's not anyone's business anyway.
