I think my favorites are ピンポン (like "hooray, you got a question right~!") and ドキドキ (heartbeat.)

My sensei says the first one alot so I really like it xDD If you get the question wrong, she goes, ブウウウウウ。

Your sensei sounds so cool. >w< I love my sensei, too. Today she dressed up as a vampire (for Halloween) and was all like, ガハハハハ!

Don - I love this one. It's just so much fun to say, and it's kind of like a "ta-da" sound effect.
Shi-n - I might start using this one, but it's used to describe those awkward silent moments. XD
Kira Kira - Sparkle, sparkle. Kira Kira is a cute sounding word that I like and again, it's fun to say.

I haven't heard of puni puni before now (or I may have and not been paying attention to the katakana sound effects) but I like it. 'Tis cute.

Have you ever seen the anime AzuManga Daioh? There's this pervy baka teacher and he makes the pinpon sound when the girls have to go to PE....he scares me!

P.S. Aiko-san, anata no kawaii..... 3nodding
