Saknika We're all people... It's really going to depend on personal motivation. Because there are some lazy a** straight folks out there who will sit on their bums all day and contribute zilch while a homosexual is out working their a** off, and vise-versa. Sexual orientation doesn't determine community contribution, motivation does. Very true.

Gay couples are more likely to adopt (which needs to be done because their aren't enough foster homes and such!). The unfortunate thing is that in most places, gay couples are not allowed to adopt (which is REALLY stupid!)
Of course there are still a good many of lesbian couples who will opt to do artificial insemination (sp??) And even many who will offer to be serrogate mothers for those women who are unable to have babies.
