Okay, I had to do a bunch of Poems for English Class, and it was like I was possessed. I hardly had to think, and BOOM! I had my poem. I'll post a few of them here.

The Missing Bus
First day of middle school
How do I feel?
My throat is dry; my hair’s a mess
My stomach lurches and reels.
But the excited smile on my face,
Will surely not go away
The morning’s lookin’ good
It’ll be an awesome day
The camera flashes in my eyes
My backpack weighs me down
The tall kids at the bus stop
Aren’t too good to hang around
My heart jumps up into my throat
As slowly the minutes tick by
What time is it? Where’s the bus?
It’s pretty late, I wonder why.
Mom’s going to call the company
To see why it’s so late
Wait, it’s already came and left?
Oh, this is just great!
The first day in middle school
And I have missed the bus
The tall kids at the bus stop
Begin to swear and cuss
I get to school at eight o’clock
My day has started off just great
My first day of sixth grade
And I’m fifteen minutes late. Lol, this one is a true story. Narrative poem, and my favorite one we did.

That's not good! That could be managed relativley easy, but not really, for my school. You'dhave to try to do it, really... to get off at the Middle school or the High school, because all the busses go to the middle school then HS then they go pick up the elementary kids and drop them off.

Yes, I live in a large town/small city, with 2 elementarys, one MS and one HS

I like the rhyme. And I must be in a weird mood today, because I commented on a few other things and they made me groan at first, but then I liked them after I got through the writing xp Translation: I groaned at first, then me likey.

It reminds me of my first day... I tried walking to school and somehow managed to get myself lost.
Great memories, and great poem! I like the rhyming. 3nodding
