Hermonie Urameshi
I like the first two because they were more to the story. POA went way off and ruined the rest for me. I'm not going to bother to see any of the other movies. Not that I was gunna see HBP anyways. I hate that book. Her writing style went downhill with that one. Too many obvious things.

I also say they should have waited until all the books came out so they didn't leave something that's important for a later book out.
Actually, quite unusual for an author having their books made into movies, Jo has actually had a lot of say as to how the movies are to be made. She conferences quite regularly with Steve Kloves (who writes the scripts for the movies) to make sure that nothing happens in an early movie that will contradict later plot points.

Some of what they left out seemed important.

If I ever wrote a book or a series of books, I'm making sure it's right.

By the way, I don't know if you guys knew this, but Jo has announced the title of the 7th book!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Sounds a bit cheesy in my opinion xp

Are you serious?

That's like, a cheese pizza, in dough which has cheese mixed in, as well as a cheese stuffed crust, and cream-cheese spread.

Yeah, cheesy.

It's sad, but it might be finally happening. She's starting to jump the shark. Mind you, it takes a VERY good writer to keep from doing that. It's hard to keep cranking out new and fresh ideas all the time because eventually you have to recycle. I don't think she's gotten to pandering to the masses yet, and I honestly hope it doesn't happen because it'll shoot her credibility on the artistic roll-call right in the face.

well, I read the first 4 books in spanish, because I've discovered HP's world when the first movie was coming out, and I totally loved it. Then when the 5th book came out I couldn't wait and I said "well you speak english, if you can read the annual report of the UN for your college classes, you can read Harry Potter", so I've read the last 3 books in english, and the british versions. Now I know that british use "reckon" instead of "think" :p
