So.
What I can tell you so far she is royalty, a queen from another realm that has collided with Sonic's, and they're in search for the Sol Emeralds. We know that she partners up with Sonic to get them, and to stop the new threat.
What I am guessing is that the threat is an alternate reality of Dr. Robotnik. And also, that the Sol Emeralds are exactly like the chaos emeralds, but power up Blaze, who (I'm guessing) is the alternate universe form of Sonic. I mean, look at the shoes, and compare the names. Blaze could mean that she's quick on her feet, you never know.
I'm just disapointed that it had to be a NEW character. I thought it would've been fun to see a TRUE alternate version of Sonic... like a human one, or something. I know it sounds corny, but Meh.
