I finally saw it! Wow, I almost cried when Zuko was having those dreams...horrible, and it's really not fair he had to go through all that....ah, well, I suppose it's building character. The way it ended was another cliffhanger, though. Why must they always do that?

Its so exighting, after the show I was bacicaly shaking with anticipation. It is amazing how well they have developed Zuko's character. We all knew he was a honerable guy, but it was difficult to see how he could ever get over his determination to catch the avatar and return home. The creators did a good job of not making him do a 180% change over night. You saw how he slowly developed more and more into a fuller person( I also liked how his hair grew more and more each eppisode, I think he is going to go back to the ponytail but not shaved head look). He lived the life of a pesant , he rebelled and stole, he learned about the good people in the earth kingdom and what the fire nation was doing to these good people, he also got his first kiss 4laugh . All these things helped him grow. But he still hung on to that hope of catiching the avatar and going home. You cant blame poor Zuko for want to hang on to the thing he has been trying for basicaly his whole life. But he was forced to let go of that when he freed Appa and he is still not sure he did the right thing. Part of Zuko still is that cold firce anger and drive to get the throne --the Azula blue dragon part and part of him knows he cant hold on to his dream and needs to heal---The Uncle iroh red dragon.

Of course Zuko clings to these things. His father made him believe he was a failure to him, and would always be that way. So his shame makes him cold and angry at the world. But he's slowly realizing that he needs to find his own way, not the way his father chose for him. I think the blue dragon (Azula) represented what he had been hunting for for so long, his honor, which told him to do bad things while the red dragon (Iroh) told him not to listen, to find his own way, that honor isn't important.
