Shaun had seen the other about to break out in raukus laughter - but he didn't. Something had stopped him. And Shaun was much too curious to let that slide. "Is - is something wrong?" he asked, a note of sincere concern in his voice. It was almost as if he had completely forgotten any of his anger towards this other in that split moment - and the human as well. And he had forgotten it - them. He was almost never angry for a very long time. Only Erasmus could hold Shaun's anger for any longer than a day or so.

Agares notices that the smaller demon had been looking at him and growled angrily. "Nothing's wrong and it's none of your business." he snarled returning to his old callous self. "Now if you're done snivelling then I suggest we get going. I have very little time for this."
Meanwhile behind silvery gates that always remained closed lay the most beautiful garden that had existed upon the earth since Eden had been lost. But today the garden did not retain it's usual happiness. The normally boistrous sparrows had fallen silent and a warm yet menacing wind had blown the trees and perenials until they shook at the roots. The pale figure that stood in the garden's centre shivered as the prescence he knew so well grew ever stronger. He had returned...

"I - I am not snivelling!!" he protested, a light blush touching his cheeks. "And I'm perfectly ready to leave. I've just... just been waiting for you!!" he retorted, his annoyance and slight anger returning. "So I suppose we just... we search for both of them.... And whichever one we find first dies first," he finished, his expression and tone determined. He would find Erasmus and kill him if he had to kill himself to do it.

"Haha, that's the kind of talk I like" said the elder demon, although with his level of maturity no one would have guessed. He proceeded to flounced out the window and land neatly in the school courtyard. He was naturally a big show off and liked to add a bit of drama to his everyday life, he was a demon after all. "Look out Brother! Your number's almost up." he shouted to nothing in particular in his excitement. the chase had bagun.

Shaun alighted next to the other demon, slightly peeved at the other's level of ego. It was unnecessary to show off in such ways... He just wanted to get it over with already. Erasmus wouldn'y know what had hit him once Shaun got to him. But he would have to be careful.... He knew the Lilin was stronger than he was - or at least that was what he speculated. but with Agares... he would most likely be able to overpower the deceitful demon.

Nikki almost takes her eyes off the belltower to concentrate on the warmth of her hot chocolate, but as soon as she's about to remove her glance from it, she notices movement, squinting, she sees the movement again. She almost drops the mug from her hands, but regains her wits. "..Impossible.." she whispers, remembering the tales of the belltower and how it's been boarded up for years. Without a second thought, she grabs her bookbag, and takes a last sip out of her mug, then leaves it, still steaming, on the table. She runs out the door, never taking her eyes off of the tower, and she walks until she has to crane her neck to look up, which is just inside the walls of the school grounds.

Agares stood bolt upright, his ears pricked and all senses on alert. there was another prescence in the area. A female, and a human one at that. The demon sighed with relief. Humans weren't a worry, even if they could see him they were no match for the demon, hell it had even taken the creator a considerable amount of effort to stop him, he boasted inwardly. Still, he might be allowed to kill this one, he smirked happily.

Nikki runs up to the door of the belltower, but it won't open for her. "Damn it.." she mutters to herself. She walks around the opposite side of the building, looking up towards the top, walking right by the demon, unable to see him. The cold doesn't even bother her anymore as she steps back so she can see inside of the tower, and she squints, but she sees no movement anymore. She whispers aloud again, "I thought I saw something... It couldn't have been nothing...could it?" She continues to look up the brick wall to the top.

"What's so funny?" Shaun asked curiously, leaning forward to gaze intently at the other's face. "Sense anything?" Agares had been a Fallen long before Shaun. Shaun had... trouble using his demonic powers. His angellic ones were still rather... potent. He could use them, and use them well - although it hurt to do it. Holy magic was painful to cast, and yet it was still stronger than his current, weak Dark magic.

Nikki walks around the belltower, finding another entrance. This time the door opens and she cautiously makes her way up the old step. In the darkness of the staircase she almost puts her foot through a hole in a board, but catches her balance before that happens. She gets to the top, turning the knob of the door...
