{Since there was quite a bit of interest in Chapter 1, I finally decided to put up Chapter 2. There is more, but I won't put that up until I get a comment in this chapter. ^-^}
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Chapter 2]
Disclaimer: I don’t own Tokyo Mew Mew or any of its characters, plots, et cetera. I do, however own my Alien Mews. They are my own original creation, and I plan on keeping them that way, for the moment. Do NOT use my characters in your stories without my permission. I have given only 1 person permission to, and she is my older sister. That said, I advise that you brace yourselves for the largest denial by anyone in the history of… well, ever. Enjoy.
-----In a few moments, a boy with small, white wings appeared before Minto and Cinna. At first glance, other than the wings, he looked like a normal teen, wearing a tee-shirt, pants (possibly jeans if you looked at them right) and sneakers. Then, looking again, it is obvious that this was not normal, because any and all seams in the clothing were in a cerulean blue, and there was an ‘X’ across his chest in the same color. -----“I think we’ve got a winner,” The brown haired girl commented, astounded. She was pretty much just staring at the boy, merely because she had never seen a male mew mew before. Being a mew mew herself, she thought this was impossible, though he proved that theory wrong. “Rikujou Basil, a mew mew. DNA mixed with that of the White Winged Duck, according to what the orb told me. It should be attached to your weapon when you summon it, not that that matters.” -----“You have got to be kidding.” The boy looked at himself, amazed with the transformation. He didn’t think it would have worked. Then again, before that day, he hadn’t known that mew mews still existed. They had been a thing of the past, after all. -----“No, Basil-kun, I’m not kidding.” The brown haired girl, Cinna, replied easily, “You are a mew mew. One of the few male mew mews. I only thought there was one that existed, and he was Shirogane Ryou, who tested the mew project on himself, and wasn’t really fully capable of being a mew. You, on the other hand, are entirely capable, and are destined to fight on the side of good.” “I am NOT a mew mew!” Basil exclaimed angrily, “I am not a mew mew and I never WILL be a mew mew!” -----“You seem to be in denial.” Cinna responded calmly, staring at her fingernails, “besides, if you weren’t a mew mew, you wouldn’t be in that neat little blue and white outfit would you? And you wouldn’t have the duck wings.” She pulled out a feather from one of the wings, causing the boy to flinch. -----“Ouch, don’t do that!” he commanded, snatching the feather from the girl’s hand. “It’s bad enough that I have these wings. Now I have to deal with mew mews!” -----“Think of it this way – you get to be just like your idol.” Minto commented, oddly cheerfully, “Although Aoyama-san was never an actual mew mew, he was always helping out.” -----“Okaa-san, you’re not helping.” Cinna muttered, noticing Basil was frustrated even more than before. “Though, we can have all kinds of jokes about you, duck boy.” -----“Like what…?” Basil asked, worried. -----“Like how you’re so quiet that your voice doesn’t echo.” Cinna suggested. “Or, when are you going to waddle to school!” She burst out laughing, for no apparent reason. Her joke hadn’t been that funny. -----“Anyway, how do I un-transform?” he asked, staring at his hands, “It’s a little weird being like this. The wings are a little much, too…” -----“Just think about your human form, and you’ll return to it.” Minto replied, “It’s easiest to do it that way.” The boy’s wings vanished quickly as he returned to his original state fairly easily. -----He opened the door and was about to leave, when he suddenly had a thought. “I’ll see you tomorrow at school, right, Cinna?” Basil asked, “Coming to school wasn’t just a setup so that you could find me, right? This isn’t all just your own plan?” -----“Of course, not, silly goose.” She replied, waving her hand, “It took me forever to get okaa-san to let me go to school in the first place. Why would I give it up, when I’ve got better friends there than at dance?” She smiled, and Basil let himself out of the house. -----“He seems like a fun guy,” Minto commented, “Though I just wonder how you’ll teach him to change into his alien mode.” -----“He’ll figure it out himself, in time.” The girl replied, opening her bag. “Now, if you don’t mind, I have a little homework I have to finish. It’s all easy stuff, though. Mostly math…”
-~--~--~--~---~--~--~--~--~--~--~-
-----The next morning, Cinna rushed out the door after eating her breakfast. There was no time to waste. She didn’t want to be late, after all. Her bag was clutched tightly in her hand as she zoomed along the sidewalk. Of course, she saw two familiar figures in front of her. It was Ginger and Basil, walking along carelessly, most likely talking. -----“Hey!” Basil shouted, hearing Cinna’s footsteps first. “Good to see you woke up this morning. Did you oversleep, or was your mom giving you a hassle?” -----“Shut it, ducky.” Cinna snapped, surprising Ginger. “Don’t worry, he’s one of us. DNA of some duck. Oh, maybe we should tell him our animal DNA…?” She looked up at her friend, who merely nodded. “Okay. I have the DNA of the Golden Eagle. Ginger has the DNA of a Skylark. Pretty cool how we all can fly in our mew mew forms, right?” -----“I’m not a mew mew.” Basil insisted, and groaned. “Besides, shouldn’t you be hiding that a little more, Cinna? The original mew mews did, after all.” -----The girls merely looked at each other and rolled their eyes. “We’re not the originals.” Ginger replied after a moment, “Besides, they’re superheroes, and people wouldn’t believe us if we said we were mews. The mews disappeared, remember?” -----“We need to quiet down now, though.” Cinna added, pointing forward. “Do you really want the whole school to know?”
-~--~--~--~---~--~--~--~--~--~--~-
-----Homeroom that morning was abnormal. A girl with shoulder length black hair and black eyes (with absolutely no shine to them at all) walked toward the back of the classroom. Normally, this girl was in the front, answering every question that was asked of the class. This girl, the notorious Akaaka Thyme, had since decided that it was pointless to do so, now that Cinna was there. She wished to sit as far from everyone else as possible, and spoke to no one. Cinna, of course, noticed a very faint black-purple glow from her own pocket as the other girl passed by. Normally, this wouldn’t mean anything, but to Cinna it was obvious. This was another mew. -----“Remember the green one you gave me to find who it would belong to?” Ginger asked, causing Cinna to suddenly jolt up, “Well, there was a girl who it reacted to. Kure Nutmeg, a girl in a lower class than us. She does, however, go to the cafeteria every day, which is why I could meet her. She’s very happy about being a mew. Though I think that we need to get the updated team together soon.” -----“Yeah…” Cinna murmured, looking at Thyme. Next to the know-it-all sat the most popular girl in the class, Tsumetai Pepper. This seemed particularly odd to Cinna, since normally Pepper and Thyme didn’t get along. “Hmm, maybe I should see what’s up with them…” -----“Hey, Cinna-chan,” Basil said, waving his hand in front of the girl’s face, “You seem awfully spacey this morning. You know that there are some classes you actually have to pay attention for, like History, today.” -----The girl looked up and smiled, “No, Basil, I’m not really thinking about anything. Except for how I think that something is strange here. From what I could tell from yesterday, Akaaka-san and Tsumetai-san don’t get along. But they’re seated next to each other today, and not fighting.” -----Basil shrugged and sat down. It was time for class to start, and he wasn’t going to be the one caught out of his seat. Especially not when he was already thinking he was in trouble with someone somewhere. After all, being a mew mew just had to be punishment. It just had to be.
-~--~--~--~---~--~--~--~--~--~--~-
-----After school, Cinna walked around the building, and found Thyme and Pepper talking. She hid behind a tree near to them, and the black-purple glow from earlier returned. But this time, something was different. An orange glow appeared as well. “Odd…” Cinna murmured quietly. Thankfully, the wind blew in the opposite direction, so her voice was unheard by the pair. She then began to eavesdrop on the conversation. -----“Isn’t it really strange that we, like, can turn into these strange creatures and teleport to a bunch of different places?” The red haired girl asked (she kept her hair in a long braid, by the way). When she saw Thyme nod, she continued, “I mean, no one else can, and if I remember what my mom said correctly, we look just like the evil aliens who fought Tokyo Mew Mew years ago when we transform.” -----“It is very odd…” Thyme confirmed, closing her eyes, “Though did you notice that we only figured this out after that girl, Aizawa Cinna-san, transferred to our school? She must have something to do with it.” -----“I don’t think so.” Pepper stated, looking around. She shrugged, not seeing anyone, “After all, that girl is a perfectly normal rich idiot. Rich idiots never have anything to do with, like, anything.” -----“I have to agree with you on that one,” Thyme said, nodding, “She does seem to have absolutely no strange qualities. Well, other than her hair style, but I suppose that doesn’t matter.” -----“No, it really doesn’t.” Cinna interrupted, emerging from behind the tree, holding the two orbs in her hands. “Now, if you wouldn’t mind, transform into those creatures you were talking about. I think I know what you’re talking about.” -----The two other girls merely exchanged glances, shrugged, and their ears became long and pointy. For Pepper, her braid transformed into a ponytail, but other than that, her outfit looked just like Cinna’s had when she transformed into her alien form for demonstration purposes. Thyme, however, had gained vampire-like fangs, and wore gloves, boots, and a skirt set in all black. “Are we what you think we are?” Thyme asked. Cinna merely nodded, and transformed herself. -----“You’re like me, in your own right.” Cinna said, handing Thyme the black marble-orb. “I believe you are also mew mews, though I cannot say that for sure. If these orbs are reacting to the two of you, though, you probably are.” She passed the orange one to Pepper, which was promptly caught. -----“Like, what are you, anyway?” Pepper asked impatiently, stuffing the small orange thing into a pocket. -----“Half alien, half human, half mew mew.” Cinna explained with a shrug, “My father is one of the aliens who attacked earth many years ago. His name is Kisshu. My mother is one of the mew mews who helped defeat them. They had good reasons, though… but that isn’t the point. You both are mew mews, born at least half human, with a member of your family who is 100% pure blooded alien. Whether it’s a far back ancestor, or one of your parents, you are part alien. That makes you someone like me.” -----“Why does it matter?” Thyme asked, “After all, it just means we have a few powers that not everyone has. Big deal.” -----“No, not just ‘big deal’.” Cinna replied, “If you don’t learn to use your powers, you’ll lose control, and one day, you’ll have problems transforming back into your human state. My older brother wound up that way, and was brought back to live with the other Aliens on their planet.” -----“So, how do we learn to use these powers?” Pepper asked. It was a simple enough question… for a simple-minded enough person. -----“Come over to my house tomorrow.” Cinna replied, handing them each a slip of paper with her address on it. “The other members of our group, Kure Nutmeg, Kumori Ginger, and Rikujou Basil, will be coming, too. Ginger and I both know how to use our powers. For me, Kisshu taught me. I taught Ginger. Just show up at around noon or something.” She teleported away, leaving Thyme and Pepper no time to argue.
[End Chapter 2]
Author’s Note: Well, this wound up shorter than I expected. Not that it’s a problem or anything. I wanted to leave something for the next chapter before the little alien girl shows up again. Here’s another preview for you, because it’s fun.
[Chapter 3 preview]
-----“So, let me get this straight,” asked the red-headed member of the group, “We’re supposed to attack that thing with this kind of weapon? A staff isn’t much use, you know. And I doubt a good luck charm will do anything.” -----“Trust me, it’ll work. I’ve just got blow darts, after all!” Basil replied, holding up his weapon proudly, “But a stupid black crow shouldn’t be that hard. This girl is obviously a pushover when it comes to these ‘chimera’ things.” -----The short, dark green haired alien seemed to take offense to this. “I’ll have you know that Deep Blue himself made this chimera! I’m just the one who gets to use it.” She pointed at Basil, and the crow launched several feathers at him… just what he needed.

No, absolutely not.
I will not be uploading any of my stories to Fanfiction.net. Here's my reason - I fear people will copy me.
Yeah, that's right, I hate people who steal my work and then just don't say if it's theirs or not. Someone did, once, when I put up an AMV of mine, and then they put it up on YouTube. Luckily, they said it wasn't theirs, but still, someone might take it and claim it's theirs.
I only put it here because the people in the guild are unlikely to copy it.

Oooh. That makes sense. ^-^ I don't really think anyone would want to steal my stuff though. It's pretty idiotic being written by idiots... xd

Well, especially with my AMVs, people are likely to copy them because they like them. Most people who watch my AMVs on a regular basis seem to really enjoy watching my Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne AMVs, especially. I have only a few TMM ones, and they're not worth much... Kira makes better. In terms of fanfiction, I'll only put mine up in a couple places. Here and on the geocities website for this guild (heh heh, yeah, but it was made long before the guild). Here's the link - http://www.geocities.com/bridgitkiido/tokyomewmew/MewMewIndex.html

O.O
So I'm not the only one who knows KKJ here. That's a good thing, I'm just... yeah... freaked out. My profile is all KKJ-ish. I even put up one of my videos there. XP
Just wondering, do you know any of the other mangas by Arina Tanemura (other than Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne)? Such as Full Moon wo Sagashite or Shinshi Doumei Cross?
