eek Resistance is futile!? OMG, the Borg have invaded Gaia and we're just now figuring this out?
Though very, very lengthy, the transcript with the CIPA and Mother is quite interesting. I'm ashamed to admit, but I don't know all the players in this dialogue. Mother seems to function on absolutes... all good or all bad and nothing in between. Sounds to me Mother is going to "protect" us from ourselves whether we like it or not.

Woo! Keep an eye on this--it's Flarn's (09's) post history. He's been posting in exactly one place since Christmas, & his posts are getting really weird! He's been making a real fuss about Water Meats, too!

Makes me wonder sometimes if 02 is going to turn out to be a bad guy & the Water Meats are part of a plot...apparently he has been accepting trades & giving out Water Meats even recently...! ninja
Bet there will be more developments for the Valentine's Day event, though....

It's getting weirder and weirder. Wonder how the water meats play into the scenario? And just how much control do the Zurg have on the water meats most of us already have? eek

Good grief! How many weird beings inhabit Gaia? And war being declared just before Valentines Day? I was wondering how long these peace talks were going to last.
It's interesting that the mod's name is a variation (of sorts) of Ares, the Greek god of war.
