Also, I believe I heard in an interview that Billie said they were still a trio, and that Jason was just a cool guy and friend, helping them with this tour because...some songs needed more chords or something.
If I'm wrong, good for Jason...

Yes, I understand everyones point, but you must consider if Jason does become part of the band (which has not been confermed) then yes it would not be a trio anymore, but would it really matter if nothing changed, which I cant say it will, but if nothing changes will it really be that big of deal? I mean this could be a good change, I dont know.

If I'm wrong, good for Jason... it was the same with nirvana and pat smear, no-one really ever knew whether he was officially in the band or not.

Kerisim~ Dark angel Kaze Kerisim~ Hes just an extra guitar player. I only read that he is not a member yet. I saw them in concert and all that and Billie introduced saying "Jason White over here!!" Or something like that. it would be cool if he was part of the trio. He does look like Tre' in ways.
I feel happy for him if he does become an official member (and it's what he wants), and I'll just adjust.

It would strange if he joinjed cus like green day has always been a trio to me buy it's good it it's true cus he get's a more credit. I hope the guitar stuff doesn't change to much cuase my band sometimes does covers of them and we're a trio sad

but he would deserve it. He's a great person prolly, but he doesn't really go hyper and phsycho like Billie, Mike, and Tre do...*shrugs* he's a great guitarist though.

Yeah, I heard that Jason doesn't want to be a official member...he just likes to play. I think he'd rather do something else with his time than have to deal with the grueling process of recording. wink But going on tour is fun for anyone, so that's why he helps out. I guess Billie can't multi-task in that aspect.

Meh.. it wouldn't change much.. it'd take a little getting used to, seeing them as four, rather than three, but all in all, it wouldn't effect the band in any way because Jason's been playing with them for years and knows their style and what they like to play and do.
But like others have said, I don't think he really wants to be an official member.. he just wants to participate on tour and do the cool stuff.. instead of recording and writing (not that it isn't cool.. just going on tour would be more fun and exciting).
