Okay, here is the scoop. Some stakes and wards have come out against MySpace in their Scouts and Young Womens Programs. Even some older groups (I know a few Young Adults in BYU Ward's, and a Certain Singles Ward). Some have warned them to be careful. However, some have specifically asked their members to remove their accounts and abstain from visiting MySpace or even other Social sites. The specific counsel varied from ward to ward.

Please follow your local leaders. They have stewardship over you and are given inspiration from your Heavenly Father for your specific ward.

Do not judge others, though. There was no talk in Conference this weekend telling all to quit MySpace. BUT if your Bishop said you should DO SO! AND even if your Bishop said nothing of the sort, if you feel like maybe you should because it is making you feel uncomfortable when you are there, then YOU SHOULD!



MySpace (Or PediSpace as it seems to be turning into emo ) can be a lot of things. Just try to make good choices and do NOT assume you can trust ANYONE. It is sad but true. Actually, it is the same with Gaia... AND LDS sites. I have met some of the WORST people (raped my friend) on LDS dating sites! cry Just don't be DUMB!!!




p.s. Justas an aside, I myself have a MySpace, but I don't often go... but I am a HUGE Blogger addict. hee hee!
