Nah, Zenia's definatly overrated. Her art isn't that good, and she charges a sealed? But in Keiiii's defense, I don't think she's snobbish, although her art is overpriced. It's great, but not THAT great.

It's great, but not THAT great. What is wrong with charging a sealed? They cost $2.50. In my opinion your art would have to be really damned bad to be worth less than $2.50.

In my opinion your art would have to be really damned bad to be worth less than $2.50. I don't know, because 15k seems like a lot...It's like, I personally don't want ot spend my money on Gaia, even though if I'm buying art, it's worth it. Somehow 15k seems like way more than $2.50. I dunno, lame reason. xd

Really charging a sealed isn't bad because a lot of people get sealed without even paying the $2.50 so it's pretty much free.

It's really quite depressing. I remember how much she impressed me a few years ago on Oekaki Central... Maybe it was because I was younger and didn't know any better. =/

I think her art has actualy gotten WORSE then back in the day when she used to update on Yerf regularly. She's totaly revamped her artstyle so it would fit in with what's popular. I'm so sick of seeing the same art from diffrent people. wow, she's still around? i first saw her on yerf too, like seven years ago @____@ i'm surprised at how little she's really improved.

Watercolor Bliss Really charging a sealed isn't bad because a lot of people get sealed without even paying the $2.50 so it's pretty much free. You pretty much have to look at the value of letters in the context of the gaian economy and not it's monetary value in the real world. a letter is the only sort of wealth that you can (legally) buy on gaia. Otherwise gold is pretty much worth the time and effort you put into earning it. Letters are only cheap for people who can purchase them, Without those means, 20k is a fairly difficult sum to acquire.

That Pretty Gay One Really? I wasn't aware of her art prices, though I still don't think they're that bad. But I was talking about how her art's gotten a lot worse rather than how overrated she is.
It's really quite depressing. I remember how much she impressed me a few years ago on Oekaki Central... Maybe it was because I was younger and didn't know any better. =/ In Zenia's case, I believe her lack of improvement stems from the fact that she actively turns down and asks not for the cleansing fire of a good thorough critique, and gets really defensive and such when a random stranger does lay some sort of critique or opinion that doesn't go with her work. Bothersome in my book since I believe you should always be striving to art harder....but thats just my humble opinion on the matter....

I haven't really seen her around, I suppose I'm just forgetful. But it's really a bugger when people don't even take critiques gracefully enough, or believe that no body else is capable of helping them to improve. I've found that how I see my art is very different from others, and it helps to have that second (or more) pair of eyes. Anyone have a link to her shop so I can see this for myself?

Oh... WOW. I just stumbled upon one of the most overpriced art stores I've EVER seen. Does anyone know the user Monkey King Spike? He only does fullbodies for bribes of 300k+, and his art definitely isn't worth that much. x_X
His flat rates for headshots and things are also overpriced... but that's just me.
