yeah we have to play at 3-4 rallies a year. in the beginning, we usually stand in a little corner and play a few pep tunes while people are coming in the gym to sit. then for the rest of the rally, we go in the wrestling room behind the gym and have little wrestling matches going on whee i like the rallies xd

our pep rallies are quieter than the classrooms.... it is absolutely pathetic. if you dropped a pin on the floor during our pep rallies, you could possibly hear it in the upstairs gym...

We have a few pep rallies a year, including one today.
It basically consists of Freshman chanting 'Seniors suck! Seniors suck!', Seniors wearing togas, Juniors trying to upstage the Seniors with guys dressing up as ballerinas/fairies, and Sophomores being virtually ignored.
The football team gives a speech about how we shouldn't be giving up on them even if they haven't won more than two games in the past few years, and go on to say they will come out on top, yada yada, until later that night when they lose anyway. rolleyes
The band plays their show music and a few stand tunes, the step team performs, the cheerleaders and dance team show their stuff (what with their slutty outfits and all), and some other gifted individual dancers/singers might perform.
Hey, just got word that due to extensive rain today, the football game has been postponed til Monday. Funny, it's our homecoming game, too. The pep rally's still on, though. Got half an hour to get ready for it. Later.

We play in the gym, which is where all of the assemblies and such are held. We're shoved off to the side, though not in a corner, and the cheerleaders and dance team people crank up horrible music (okay, maybe not all of it is horrible), and we have to play through it. Jerks.
