I think it's an awesome idea, seriously, but if they do that, I don't know if it would fare very well as a long standing anime. Sure, they have the story elements and such needed to sustain it long enough, but there's the whole aspect of the action behind it. The main worry will be whether or not it will live up to the craziness of some of the things you see in the games, and can it do it consistently.

I've read the manga. Like, 10 pages of it. >_>; From what I have read, it's terribly boring but the inking is incredible. o:
And I have an issue of the american comic. It tries too hard to make Dante witty. =/

Jubeh I've read the manga. Like, 10 pages of it. >_>; From what I have read, it's terribly boring but the inking is incredible. o: And I have an issue of the american comic. It tries too hard to make Dante witty. =/ I've seen that. :O And yes, it IS boring. Terribly so. Still, it was nice to see a bit more backstory on Dante and Vergil. Or, excuse me...Tony and Gliver. xd

With any luck, the anime won't totally suck a**. Dante is cool. The anime, logically, should be cool.
Also, Nero and Vergil are cool, and therefore deserve guest appearances.

I personally detest Nero. There's just something about Nero that I don't like, but regardless, DMC4 will more likely than not be a good game. Vergil will have to make a guest appearance, though.
But, attempting to hold the anime to the standards of the game...well, that's not exactly reasonable, the main reason being that some of the people that helped ork on the games, namely DMC3, aren't helping with production of the anime, and last I heard, though correct me if I'm wrong, that includes the choreographer of the action scenes and the like.

Hmmm...a DMC anime? ack! I love the series and the manga is alright, but I dunno if you should make an anime out of it. I mean they did alright with Arc the Lad, but they only used ATLII. So it might be good, it might not be.
