The banshee fortells the death of someone who's either well known or liked. Occasionally they fortell the deaths of people of greati mportance in chorus, with numerous banshees joining in one long, drawn wail.

So, moral of the story: be unlikeable, and try not to do anything terribly important.

Although..... I dunno. I think it'd be kinda neat to have wailing spirits tell everybody when I go...... Then again, I guess I'm outta luck, being a Lewis.

A Banshee (Bean Si) is usually seen as a young woman in a white gown (more like flowing nightgown) with red hair and eyes wet and bloodshot from crying.

I read up on banshees awhile back. I don't remember the site but that's what I know about banshees.

Irish banshees are the most well know but they have also been reported in scottlan and even france. But there I think they are given the name 'Washer women' or 'Little washer by the ford'.

In Celtic mythology there was a deity woman who would be seen before battles supposedly washing the bloody clothes of those meant to die.
Banshee's might have evolved from that legend.

If i remember right they are SCottish or something like that yes? not sure, but it was that if you woke and they were above oyu screaming you'd die in a week, they say it happened but i'm not sure

You will only die if you hear a Banshee if you are of an old high class family. In the case of Irish Bean Si it's if you're surname begins with 'Mac' or 'O'.

With Scottic Banshee it i, again you are a member of a high class family and are well liked or well know. But they also appear at fords or riversides washing the clothes of those about to die.

I believe french banshees also wash blood stained clothes.
