Guacamole-kun phantom912 y'know, ive always wondered, when eve had cain and abel, did they know what to do with the umbillical cord? i mean, im sure they did eventually, cuz cain and abel lived to be teenagers and stuff like that, but how did they know what to do? did God tell them what to do? I'm sure there've been lots of people over the... past very long time who have given birth without knowing what to expect. It's probably in our insticts, what to do with the thing. XD; I mean, animals figure it out all the time, right? yeah i guess so...

If the scripture says that God breathed life into Adam and that he made all humans, then you have to think about if God made humans bascially the same with his body form then did Adam have all the things we did? Of course. We have navels so Adam had to had one.. (the girl that said Adam was from a women was wrong....its the other way around.)

I don't think so. Man was created from dust so therefore there probably wasn't a navel.

dragonlove_48 I was in my Old testament Literature class and the Proffessor was pointing out things he bet we wouldn't have noticed about the first 3 chapters of Genisis, one of the questions he brought up was, did Adam have a Navel? Well of course not. He was created by the hand of God, not by the womb. Easy question, really. 3nodding

I'm feeling lucky, old lady! Fortune tapping at my elbow! Umm... Half random question: Why does Kyle from Kyle XY not have a naval? Could that be... Related somehow?
That was me telling you not to be stupid.

I voted "no" on the poll, and here's why: simply because he wasn't born in the sense that we think of it, so he wouldn't have needed one. my reasoning anyway. but God could just as well have given him one, like a few other people have said. so yeah.....it's one of those questions to try and get your brain around and hopefully it won't get fried....lol.

Cometh The Inquisitor Did Adam have a navel? I believe so. Adam was born (since the creation talked about in genesis is of a figurative sense) and, as such would have needed an umbilical cord (and, therefore, a navel). what r u talking about god never said adam was born god just made adam and no womb no navel

I think it's just one of those questions we'll have to ask God when we get to heaven. One of mine is: How did humanity spread of Cain and Adam and Eve were the only people on earth (and Abel too, but he died), how did humanity grow? Did God create a wife for Cain like he did Adam? And what about Cains children?

And what about Cains children? Adam and Eve had other children besides Cain and Abel. Back then, incest couldn't exactly be helped...but I guess that's what God had planned. Jesus is decended from Seth, Adam and Eve's third son, I believe.
