sabaal .::Final Fantasy VII spoilers are in the following post.::. I suppose sanity is relative, but even if you compare him to the other characters, Vincent is both rational and coherent. I mean, Tifa's in a love triangle with a gel-obsessed soldier/terrorist and a dead girl, Cid's a tobacco-addicted poster child for Tourette Syndrome, Barret wants to save the planet by causing explosions, Reeve's content to make friends through the guise of an obnoxious talking cat, Nanaki is a talking cat, Yuffie's already crazy enough without an explanation, and Sephiroth is the cause of half the world's craziness. And don't get me started with Rufus and the Turks. Well, setting aside the fact that being able to talk doesn't actually make Red insane, we still have the following conclusion: Vincent, a dark figure with a dark past, who has every reason in the world to be secretive, is perhaps one of the least insane characters in the game. Of course, that's just my take on it. wink I concur with your fair assumption. You make a very good point.

I wouldn't know if he's insane or not, but the pointed shoe thing seems a little strange. If he is insane, then maybe he needs to get out more.

Vincent has probably saved Cloud's life on more than one occasion so will people quit hating him please.

Vincent is cool and mysterious. Anyway he is a vampire. Everyone is insane in the game, every character had a problem but it made each one interesting. I think cloud has more problems then Vincent in idenitity issues. the girls didn't know who they liked. Sephoith is the most insane but cool bad guy I seen so far in the ff series.

I always liked how Vincent made deep observations about other characters and life in the game. Here are a few of my favorite Vincent Valentine quotes:

I love Vincent heart ...Vincent is cool,but he has a bad past. he was experimentede on alot...some of these was with chaos and the werewolf...his big sin was not stopping Lucrecia(his girlfriend) for sacrificing her self for an experiment...oh Vincent also was shot by Hojo(GRR i HATE HOJO)...If you ever want to find out all about Vincents past and Whats going on rite now then play FF7: Dirge of Cerberus) its fun...unless your bad at shooters ( the game is a third person shooter for those who dont know and the movie scenes are just like form the movie Advent Children)
