Kaikura yowled suddenly, slamming himself forward with a sharp movement and pushing her back into the dirt. He opened his mouth to bare baby fangs at her, the fur along his neck lifting. "I'M weak? What does that make YOU? I don't need to lie about what I am to feel special! AND I don't need to dodge attacks or take them to get what I want. You're less then weak! You're worthless! And least I can be something! You're just going to forever be a stupid little monster!" He wasn't weak. He was going to be strong! He wasn't going to end up like his father! No way! He wasn't going to let that happen. Besides...what did this little monster know? She didn't even know her own species!

Kaede wanted to choke him and chew on him. He would be wrong, she'd prove it to him one day. But with ehr already smaller then him (by a little) it wasn't teh best of ideas to jump into things now. She huffed at him, holding her tears back, "Everything has worth and has a purpose... I'll make sure that some day...some day you'll keep your mouth shut...even if I have to find a way to do it myself." She turned away from him, her tail held high as well with her head as she began to pad off she saw a pebble. Stopped. Turn to look at him and kicked it in his direction and padded off towards where her family surely would be.
Someday she would show him, he would be wrong...he would. She was certain.
