But I will give repesct to jeff burton for what he said after the race. I said the he didn't not race Matt dirty because matt never raced him dirty.

Well if you ask me, it all boils down to one simple thing: Love 'em or hate 'em, every driver deserves respect. They're out there race after race risking their lives doing the thing they love. If that's not enough to respect them, then I don't know what is.

I just don't like chevys. I grew up on ford.

That's awfully narrow minded, don't you think? It's like saying I grew up with a family of brunettes, so therefore I dislike/disrespect all blondes. There are many very talented Chevrolet drivers out there, not limited to just Jeff Gordon either.

Look. Jeff gorden had his time. So let him go and a new person come threw. It made sound narrow minded, but thats I fell. Chevys in book just suck. There are more of them so I go for the odd balls, Which happen to be Ford best there so few of them because all the good racing stuff was banned by nascar for bing too good. That why I don't give repesct to chevys. They cant keep up so the rules change. Thats also why the piont's system change after matt Kenseth won the champ. But Kurt Busch won it anyways.

Ok ok I love Fords myself but you can't deny the power in a 454 big block. I just love the sound of a sickass, tricked out 60's car (Chevy or Ford) The sound is music to my ears.

Jeff Gordon is a good driver, he just doesn't have the brand experience. He should try pulling a NASCAR sabbatical and race in USRC, then we'll have ourselves a real contender. 4 NASCAR Titles aside, Jeff needs more of a driving experience like rally to bring him into the limelight of international sports fans.

I was watch some stuff after quaifying today and now I know I don't giver respect to jeff gorden. When he did the bump and run on rusty, thats when he lost all my respect. I hate the bump and run for a win.

I hate missing months long posts but I really want to respond to this one. It's RACING.

In 2003 at the spring Darlington race, with two to go, Ricky Craven caught Kurt Busch in turns one and two, nudged him, and pushed him into the wall. In the same corner, Kurt gathered it back up and hit Craven and pushed him into the wall as well, and Busch retook the lead. Craven then caught Busch again out of turn 4 on the final lap, and they both banged and bashed all the way to the line, with Craven winning by a hair.

After all that pushing and shoving, they both congratulated each other and shook hands on the exciting battle.

So, tell me, was Craven being disrespectful? No. It's called going for the win. I guess it's okay if your driver uses it but not okay if someone uses it on your driver.

Might I add that was the most ******** badass finish I've ever seen biggrin

And how was Darlington rewarded for such exciting racing? Losing the Southern 500 and it's date going to ho-hum Fontana. gonk

I do not think that Jeff Gordon should have respect, because he can only drive good handling racecars. Do you not get this? Why is he always in the back around 20th or 30th if his car is not good he sucks and he also is only good because he drives for Hendrick motorsports. I'm sorry but I hate him with a passion. I am a Tony Stewart fan, never see him in the back unless he has a problem because of an accident. He can at least race a bad car, and even jeff gordon says that stewart is a better driver in a book that I recently bought over the previous summer.
