i dont do any of them conciously, although i have been told that i grunt and swear in korean sweatdrop

Lol, I know how to swear in korean! Chu-ka! hehe, tho I've managed to mostly train myself out of swearing in the dojang... its not good screaming "Die you ******** donkey c** drinking son of an aids ridden b***h" when there are kids around ya know? sweatdrop

That's a good idea! I just need to switch modes and start swearing in Chinese instead...hmm...the possibilities..hmmmmmm..luckily no one under the age of 16 is allowed to practice in our dojo (we're in a community centre and I guess those were the community centre rules) unless under special circumstances (like one of the black belt's kids...)

In kendo we do a lot of kiai. In fact, we do it with every strike we expect to succesfully hit our opponent (which should be every time) and sometimes for other purposes.

It was when I went to aikido class and we had our first katori shinto ryu lesson.
A 100 strikes warm-up, preferably with kiai. XD
I was the only one shouting and I could probably be heard two blocks further.
They all look at me strangely now.

hahah that's awesome. Strange, we don't do much kiai in aikido except in warmups. Sensei does it but no one else does..that is until we all get heated. Then the screams just come naturally.
