I watched "Fear Factor Phony" And the new VA's have improved since Mastermind.
They're VA acting in my opinion ish 3.5/5.
But they cut off Pika's voice in the title screen. >.<
Ash: Fear Factor Phony *music plays*
Pika: Ka! (It's supposed to be Pika! >.<)
At least we don't have Mastermind's Ash. *shuddersandhasaflashbackofAsh'sfaintingscene*
Well at least we didn't get Mastermind's Ash. *shudders*
EDIT: I just watched the sweet baby James ep. It was awesome and sad. I cried. crying

Satoshi just doesn't fit no matter how hard that I litsen, same with brok however considering that I've been liking pokemon back in the 90's and forged almost all of my 3rd grade memories of course I'd be hard to adjust.
I'm not watching the anime anymore, I'll just take my movies, games, manga, various merchandise and indigo boxset kthnxbai dramallama
the battle frontier opening was so terrible I practivly slammed my mose on the comp desk when I first watched and then went into denial and then into my "analyze" mode
I'm sorry but..."spurt" kicks the english's themes arse no matter how I look at it even though the song itself is like a less edgy version of the first themes. My only problem is just that- NO EDGE, even when the english themes really stupid at least they had some sort of edge or beat to them that you could get into, this song has beat, a tad of groove but it seems so dull it really sucks IMO (don't even get me started on the footage itself- I loved how they showed every pokemon satoshi has ever caught in spurt, this english opening had very little cool footage and showed fricken battle scenes with music that wasn'y battle sounding at all *continuees rant* )

I just fastforward the eps (since I have DVR, it's like tivo) I'm just going to stick to watching 4th generation on youtube ^^

Wow I'm the only one here who sort of like the new season. ^^;;
I liked Battle Frontier theme, although it was too short. >.<
I'm sticking to watching the English and Japanese episodes.

the time is kind of catchy, but the singer's voice is off. (Brock,May, and Max hae ok voices but ash has the worst! ><)

When I voted, I thought you were talking about the video games (emerald). I still think my vote was good though. Anyway, I haven't seen all the battle frontier episodes yet, only a few in fact. I thought they were OK, because there is a lot of battling, but I still wish they'd bring back misty!! rofl

I absolutely hate the voices. James got more nasally, Meowth got... messed up, Ash became a closet pervert, and Brock just sounds all-around bad.
I also don't fancy the newer pokemon, but that's my inner child speaking.
