A ripple passes through the fist struck by Tinantico as it is thrown off course, but instead of reeling off to hit IV it only pauses for a moment as if stunned. After this brief moment it continues the whole concept of squishing her like a....well, damn near anything stuck to a fat chicks a**. As with the one struck the other also moved to crushabitch. IV does not pursue her, but instead lands upon the ground safely and softly. This is the point where all hell breaks loose, for the moment he sets down the needles come to life. The covering of needles here and about turn into a thin sheet of bone that spreads across the entire arena floor. IV himself looked visibly strained, but being an undead he shouldn't feel strain. It could only be a show to draw out an attack against him while he was otherwise occupied, which meant he more than likely was more than capable of ******** any attack against him with extreme counterpwn.

With the lull in attacks, Tinanitico dissolves the hammer, putting the remains into a shield which is mixed with the existing shield to produce a new shield with about 130% the defensive strength of a typical quickie shield. The glowing circle intensifies in glow strength.

It was actually fortunate that Tin didn't attack IV, fortunate for IV, that is. Despite being undead the strain of turning your skeleton into a 300ft diamater plate is DAMNED stressful. Despite this, the strain seemed to visibly ease from IV's form as needles of bone began to stand on end, or those that were already began to sway as if grass in the wind. A grinning face turned up towards Tinanitico before it was lost in a forest of blackened bone spires shooting up towards the skies, this totally lost within the field of darkness that settled aound IV. The two fists above continue their assault, each swinging in from the sides to crush the shield between their massive strength.

Tinanitico, safe within her shield, pays no heed to the needles of bone, which aren't likely to have the force necessary to pierce or break the shield or move her so fast as to cause her to lose control. As for the Fists, she's anticipated this, and places her hands against the inside of the shield where the Fists are about to impact. Point-reinforcing the shield with extra power and her own massive strength, she is able to preserve the shield's integrity and keep the Fists at bay.

A bolt of pure power in the form of lightning streaks up from the glowing circle into the sky, but STOPS before it reaches the dark clouds and spreads, obviously executing some sort of spell as it quickly becomes a wall-like shining cloud blocking the dark sky from view, still connected to the glowing circle in the ground by a pillar of light. It's not just hiding IV's dark sky from view, either - it's having a noticable blocking effect on the spells up there which will stop them or at least interfere with them if they attempt to affect the arena.

The forest of bone continued its growth, only increasing in speed as it rose higher and higher. The pillar of light would visibly begin to get interference of its own as IV's form weaves through the forest of his own bone. The field of darkness about him would begin stealing any visible light from the pillar as malign will flooded the area, IV's own blood surging from his body as malignant magic began assaulting the magic on three fronts. Should any of the three components come to mix with the pillar they would streak up to begin infecting the cloud, only to add to IV's magical reserve flooding the air. Despite the light trying to stunch out the darkness the two fists come at Tin again, this time opening as they move in to clamp down around her shield on all sides, trying to crush her bubble.

As the Fists approach Tinanitico again, she suddenly streaks upward (still surrounded in the spherical barrier), disappearing into the golden cloud. The pillar breaks almost immediately under the interference, collapsing back into the glowing circle on the ground, which only intensifies as IV draws nearer.

((Obviously, Tinanitico's cloud is within the arena's normal boundaries.))

The glowing circle would quickly find the ground around it eroding away as chunks of the earth began to tear up from the ground. If the glowing circle was actually scribed on the ground it would be quickly broken, but furthermore the malignant force that had broken the column was forcing its way around that circle even now. The Crushing Fists of Spite begin to fade even as the cloud overhead continues to grow. This time, however, a miasma of malignant energies spreads from the corruption surrounding IV, spreading up the path the pillar had taken while the darkened cloud begins to descend on the golden cloud. The forest of bone continued to grow, quickly pulling up to around 50ft in height and only growing faster as more bone exists to multiply off of.

Though the earth breaks, the circle itself remains, having absorbed the column and become self-sufficient under its own power. The golden cloud continues to have a suppressive effect on IV's tainted energies, degrading them at a rapid rate and tearing the mana apart at a conceptual level, destroying it consistently and easily before it can affect the golden cloud. The darkened cloud would simply seem to be absorbed into the shining cloud (although this is merely an optical illusion; it is in fact decaying on or just before contact), and the energy coming from below would be similarly ineffective. In fact, the golden cloud begins to shine brighter, the new glow being strongest at the cloud's exact center.

As for the circle, there's a sudden tremor and an explosion, the center of the spell circle suddenly detonating. The nature of the explosion is low-heat but high-force, and would ideally level the bone forest right here and now (though it's very unlikely that the explosion would be powerful enough with enough range to affect the entire arena; it's just as likely that it wouldn't even shake half the bones, though the ones close enough to be within its truly effective radius are definitely gonna have a shock). It is unclear whether or not the magic circle still exists, or whether it was consumed or destroyed in the blast.

The force explodes ouyt from the circle and the bone directly around it shatters, but nothing else does. A testament to the strength of the bone being employed, the forest only seems to sway under the force as if grasses in a breeze. Those stalks near the circle that were shattered at the core only begin to rebuild themselves as the portions above fall into place. The effect had stunted the growth in a 10ft radius area, nothing more, and now the whole was at 80ft and rising.

IV, meanwhile, was seen streaking upwards at an incredible rate, distances judged and examined to their fullest degree. The sphere of influence around him pulled back to a mere twenty feet, condensing and growing in strength exponentially. When he entered the cloud an equivalent exchange would begin, the base mana supporting the cloud being consumed while the cloud tried to purify that which surrounded IV. Trying to simply outright purify his own area of influence would not be possible as the area itself would constantly be undermining such an effect, not to mention consuming excess mana. This was not a war Tinanitico could easily win, and in doing so would more than likely spend her entire efforts eliminating just his sphere of influence while he searched for her in terms of heat, aura, visibility, and absense in the lightfield. The latter of which meant either a shadow or a point in sopace where light distorted by either reflecting or warping around or through a cloaked object. If he found her he'd be on her in a moment, doing his classing stababitch routine.

The bright glow of the cloud suddenly ceases as the spell in the center executes, transforming the cloud and the mana within...and suddenly it's an antimagic field expanding in every direction as the concentrated mana of the cloud is loosed and used. And just like that, IV would find himself falling and with his sphere of influence gone. That's not all, though, because Tinanitico had the advantage of knowing Tinanitico's plan, and as such she was able to ready herself; as the field removes her magical flight just like IV's, she plummets toward him from above, with another one of 'em fancy-heavy warhammers - with IV successfully immobilized, she'll reach him before he can escape the field, as it'd likely take going almost all the way to the ground to get out of that big old thing.

There becomes an inherent problem when dealing with antimagic fields in unique situations. If an antimagic field exists, something most support it, be it a drain on mana, a negative counteracting effect, or even disruptive frequencies. To create an antimagic effect from magic that magic must still exist at the base of the reaction or the spell simply cancels itself out. None of the aforementioned effects in particular would affect the sphere of influence to any great degree, the pull of nullification working at the same rate as the sphere undermined the essense behind the antimagic. To put it simply he was a walking anti-antimagic field.

This would leave two options, both very much the same. Should the anti-anti- effect succeed, IV would be rushing in to meet Tinanitico's assault, aiming to spear her on the blade of his arm. If magic was indeed nullified through some spectacular means that defy even fantasy logic, then yes, IV would fall, but not far. He'd be waiting to skewer her all the same, his bone structure more than capable of handling a bludgeoning assault, his natural regeneration more than enough to fend off further attacks. He'd be waiting on a tip of a particular bone spire reaching up to 120ft and still growing regardless of antimagic supression. This was a beast that lived to kill mages, and even in an antimagic field without his sphere of influence he was a ******** beast.

As explained via PM, the anti-anti effect wouldn't work effectively, on account of the magic being dissolved by the antimagic before it could stop the antimagic. Or something. I don't really care.

Tinanitico, clumsily redirecting her attack, slams it into the tip of the bone blade IV planned to let her fall onto. Should the bone stand up to the inhumanly strong attack, IV would be pushed off his perch by the impact. Should it shatter, Tinanitico's body would hit IV...and push him off his perch.

The incrased force of the warhammer slammed into his blade and caused it to crack down the length and shatter somewhere around where the tips of his fingers would be. If he wasn't undead that would have hurt like a ******** b***h, but seeing as he was, it only hurt like jesus. Tinanitico and IV would collide and be sent down into the forest of bone, a position that would likely impale them both as the spires continued their growth, passing 160ft in height and continuing. IV himself would try to grab onto Tinanitico during the fall, doing his best to hold onto her the best he could with his left hand and two legs. Furthermore, he tried to bite that b***h's shoulder, cause he was getting hungry. The bone blade seemed to be regenerating even in the antimagic field.

By means of a forfeit Tinanitico is out of the tournament. Inferi Vulgus wins and advances!
