I love the lyrics to 'Teen Heat'. It makes me want to listen to them more.
"He scouts the dumpsters for a cobweb guitar to polish into a superstar, finds the gurgle of a skeleton without love, turns it into a commercial." -Best part-
Makes you appreciate them more. The kids are spoiled rich and they don't know s**t from s**t.

yesss i love that last line.
"The Ambulance Angels notify your next of kin and show them the scrap book of your operation: His head was a faucet leaking love, laughter and lies: all his secret wishes, all his world famous sighs."
I have this strange habit of not noticing if something is morbid unless people point it out to me. >.<

Lol. It's the morbid bits I pick up first.
Before you roll over, Oh yeah, before you give in, Just remember we're coming back for your children.

Question: The Blood Brothers' song undoubtably have moral messages in their lyrics, but do you think these are the views of the band members themselves or do you think they maintain a level of neutrality?
>.> <.< If that is a word..

naw, I think the members are just screwed up like that.
If it was fake, it wouldn't turn out sounding half that poetic. their lyrics definately aren't forced.

Seriously, The Blood Brothers are the greatest band ever. Okay, Thursday is still my all time favorite, but I think the blood brothers are better. Yeah, that doesn't make much sense, but thats how I feel about them. I love their singers, the contrasts between their styles is amazing. And yes, they do have the best lyrics. "I'm the unicorn with tar teeth chewing spandex nightmares!"

Until I read this thread I had the blood brothers confused with the bloodhound gang... hahahahaha.
I was thinking "Why the hell would you want to read 'you and me baby ain't nothing but mammals, so let's do it like they do on the discovery channel' as poetry?"
I am so out of the loop.
