I get mad when my mom looks at what i'm reading cuz it's none of her business... If my parent's say that I can't read it I just read it at school or somthing, ya know?

I say the best way is to have her read it, and if she still doesn't like it then...be sneaky!! But she'll like it. It's just that awesome.
I'm glad I don't have that problem with my mom. She's a librarian, is majorly anti-book banning because she says it goes against a person's constitutional right to information, and was the one who convinced me to buy it. So yeah, she rocks.
