"You just like spoiling my fun!" Ada accused as she batted at his face with a paw. She was struggling to hide a grin, however. She knew he was right, as usual(though in most cases she wouldn't admit it). Such was Ada's pig-headed ways. But the idea of being on the move again still filled her with a quivering excitement she couldn't explain. It was just one of those things.

"Do I now?" He smirked, pulling away to dodge the paw, tail lashing behind him. He growled convincingly, full of impish mischief, and looked ready to pounce her, smirking and all.

At that moment, however, an avian fluttered into view. It landed smoothly between the two, the flick of its wings sharp and quick as it folded them at its side. She turned her head with a snapping motion first to Ada and then Nukta. She ruffled her feathers slightly, sort of making herself look maybe a half inch taller. She clicked her beak, almost her way of clearing her throat, being asking, "Hello there. Might I ask the two of you a few questions? I'm looking for someone."

Blink, blink... okay, what?
Nukta stared at the avian just a little wide eyed with surprise and confusion, glanced to Adanna in the way that he often did when he wondered if someone was crazy for approaching them.

Adanna looked at the bird skeptically, but didn't turn her away. This sure was strange, like right out of a dream or something. Since when did birds talk to lions? Weren't they like...too skiddish or something? She sure hadn't ever talked to one before! "Uh....sure..." she mumbled, still looking rather...surprised.
Tanu nodded her head towards the lioness, since the lion seemed a little...lost for words. She hopped a little nearer on her light feet and chirped, "Have you seen or heard of a lioness that came from the desert?"

Nukta frowned quietly as the query was voiced, looking again from the bird to Adanna, then back again.
"That could be a lot of lions, there's an entire pride that lives out there. Why are you looking for a lioness from the desert?"

Tanu ruffled her feathers, seeming a little disgruntled by his questions. It would have been far more helpful if they had just answered instead of trying to get her to explain. It was complicated and a long story. "I'm just looking for someone in particular and they came from the desert," She replied simply. She did not want this to become an extensive conversation.
Adanna looked a little puzzled. "The only person I know from the desert is me," she murmured, but the tone of her voice made it clear it was just a statement. She wasn't saying that she could be the lioness that this bird was looking for.
