Chloe was about to continue her story, when suddenly her Pokenav bleeped. Alkaid screeched, leaping into the air and nearly running into a stalagmite. Chloe giggled, patting the Swablu. Apparently she didn't even take cheesy ghost stories well.
Peering into her bag, Chloe pulled out her Pokenav, reading the message.
"It's from Train," she explained. "She wants to meet up somewhere," she continued, looking to Alkaid.

Back on the beach, Chloe decided to take a quick break, as she sat on the shore, letting Daimon out into the ocean to enjoy it a bit before they moved again. Alkaid sunned herself, warming her feathers from the cool interior of the caves.
Yawning, Chloe leaned back into the sand, relaxing a bit as she watched the waves come in.

"So, its nicer out on the beach than in the caves, huh?" Chloe laughed, looking to Alkaid. The Swablu cheeped out an agreement. She didn't think the Swablu would ever want to enter the islands again.
Shaking her head smiling at the Swablu, Chloe turned back to the ocean, watching it for a bit before standing.
"So, think a power plant would be more up your alley than a dark cave?" she inquired. Alkaid paused for a moment before nodding. That did sound slightly better.

"Awesome! I'll head over to the Power Plant, then. I'm in Lilycove right now, so I'm sure it'll take long enough, plus I can probably train a bit. See ya there!

The waves against Seafoam Island were as quiet as ever, as Oceana walked along the beaches. While she had yet to receive any challengers for Contests, she was at peace. She preferred the quiet of the islands to the hustle of the other cities in the region. So she strolled along the shoreline, watching the water Pokemon play off the coast, smiling to herself as she hummed quietly with an unknown tune.
However, Oceana came to a halt a moment later, something very much wrong. The waves had grown silent, completely still, which was unheard of, and something the ocean expert could not explain. She had never seen such a thing. Looking off the coast, she saw that the Pokemon in the area had vanished. There was nothing within sight, which was quite a far range with the perfectly glassy ocean.
Unsettled, Oceana turned back towards the caves, where she had built a small home for herself to hold her Contests from. In all her time around the ocean, nothing like this had ever happened.
A tremor ran along the beach, kicking up sand into the air, as Oceana shielded her eyes with her arms, coughing in the dust as the beach continued to shake for a few moments.
Once the dust had settled, the water trainer frowned, looking up.
"Well..." was all she could manage, words catching in her throat as she gazed upon the island. Where there was once intricate coastal caves and craggy shoreline, there was now lush jungle. She couldn't even spot her home amongst the dense foliage.
Something was horribly wrong...
