i dont remember how old his son was. so it is possible he had had his son a long time ago? and turned him vamp too later? i would need to go back and reread some things to be sure.

His son is a wererat... You can't have Lycanthropy AND be a Vampire.

Okay, how about a NEW question for you folks...

Many of the shifters have piercings, yes? Most of them in silver because they either like the pain or so that the holes don't heal over.

So... what happens when they shift?
Do they turn into animals with fancy jewellry? Or do the piercings fall out?

Great question!!!! I also think it is weird that Jean Claude has let his hair grow longer because Anita likes it, but I always thought one of the laws of being a vamp was your body stayed the same as when you were turned. But LKH has her own rules.

It suddenly occured to me as I was reading Incubus Dreams for the second time...
Micah said in Narcissus in Chains that he was snipped right? so no risk of Anita being pregnant (as amusing as that scenario would be, "who's the daddy?!?!").
But when did he get it done?
Whilst being were, wouldn't it heal back to normal during one of the shiftings like his nose has done?
Before being were, ...??

... I'm not sure if this counts as a gaff, but it just struck me as strange.

another funny one is, isn't anita a nut about being on birth controle? even with Micah?

Have you ever noticed some of the awkward wordings of some of the sentences, or Anita's rebuttals to the guys? It doesn't make any sense. Also, some of the reference (dressed like blahblahblah) are probably people that arn't that famous...I even researched it, and I got something like Hitler to Ron from Harry Potter outfts. It confuzzles meh!
