I don't think we should get rid of the NR. Without the NR, we'd be blind guessing every single time, and it would basically be a "who is the best at herding sheep?" game (not that it isn't that way now...entirely razz ). Even if we end up with fake clues or whatever, I think it adds a whole other dimension to the game and at least we (in theory) have something to base votes off of.

Well. First of all, I am a bit thick-skulled. It's something I'm trying to be less of as of late.
Second:
You could be doing it for the purpose of getting revenge for getting sheeped early on. and therefore causing more confusion and such. This was my initial idea.
A later one that came to my mind was that you could be siding with the Sniper or Crazed Killer, and are helping them out by providing fake clues. Nothing really to gain besides the assistance, but I digess.
Also, as of...more recently, Turtle's stopped saying you're Lizzard, and...truthfully I'm unsure about all this. I have not changed the title of my topic, if only because I forgot about it. I apologize for the confusion.
ALSO!
I say we keep the NR. It's a position like any other, and one of the few materials the Gaians have to work with.

That makes NO sense.
We got rid of mules because of the chaos. You think we should get rid of the NR becasuse of chaos.
If we have no chaos, WHERES THE FUN.

Personally I don't really see anything wrong with it, but I know that there are a lot of people who *do*, and I know Zaeyde does, so who am I to argue XDXD What I meant. It just...takes out part of the dynamic of the game, IMO. @w@;  Is it ironic, to love...
Hmm... I dunno, for me... it adds. The more confusion and suspicion there is, the better.
It just seemed like for a long while every time someone came up with something creative to add or do to make the game more suspicious it was thwarted by the next game >.>
but im not good at explaining ^^;

Though, if I could change one thing, there'd be ANOTHER reporter, or so they think. Have the GM tell them that they're the NR, but they get fake clues. So you'd have two people, both who think they're getting the real stuff, but in fact only one is.
Nobody'd know what was going on... ^_^

Because then there would be no point in the clues whatsoever. Nobody knowing anything....no, that's pointless then.

The point of the game is for us to think of ways to make it interesting. We make it so it's confuzing as hell. If that happened, it'd be pointless to have an NR, and we'd never get the sniper. It makes no sense, and would do nothing to improve the game. Estellio Estel

I think a newsreporter is needed because it helps people. Because without one we will just be running around pointing fingers for no reason... which is what we do... until we find out who the newsreporter is... and then we're all like "I know the clues, and I know who the evil sniperer is"
