Glancing up the stairwell, which seemed to be a long journey in itself, the small rabbit-hooded dream found the desire to go up them. Upon each step, she scrambled a bit, her hind legs dangling behind her as she made the way up them. Upon the first step, words began to flow from her tongue and her eyes almost seemed to glaze over. Yet she still did not stop from what nearly seemed like a mechanical process.

Many days have passed since you...
...brought me to this place.
You still go outside, even when you have me.
You experience many things outside.
And then you come home and tell me about them.
Sometimes you even take me outside.
Even though I'm one of them.
You tell me that I can do whatever I want with my things.
As if we were equals.
Little by Little,
The time with you and me passes.
Little by Little,
This space becomes yours and mine.
Little by Little,
The distance is moving.
Yours and my distance.
But has the distance between us gotten smaller?
Or has it grown bigger?
I don't know.
I do know that I want it to be smaller.
But then the same thing would happen again.
It won't be the same.
This person isn't that person.
It's someone else. People are all different.
Even if people look the same...
They're all a little bit different.
No two hearts are exactly the same.
That's why the same thing won't happen.
Then is that person the someone just for me?
I don't know.
But...
...I'm starting to hope that he is.
In this place that this person brought me to...
...Little by Little...
...Little by Little...
...I'm beginning to hope that...
...I can start finding happiness.
...But
...Someone will come to stop it.
Someone will come to prevent me
from finding the someone just for me.
And...
...That person will take care of me,
But it's not because I'm me.
That person is kind.
To all people and all of them,
He is kind.
Right.
That person is kind,
And probably not just towards me.
But even if that person is kind to all,
His kindness should be a little different each time.
He can't be kind in the same way to everyone...
...Because that person is a person.
That's right.
A person's heart can't stay the same forever.
A person's heart changes a little bit every day...
...Because that is their nature.
It can be different.
It doesn't always have to be the same.
If he...
...Find in me the things that make me special.
If he likes me because I am me.
Little by Little...
Things that are different...

With the final words said, she scrambled up onto the top of the stairs. Once set there, she looked about, her dark brown eyes seeming to be a bit confused as to what happened. Finding no reason why she was at the top of the stairs, she began to make her journey back down them again, continuing on with whatever she had been doing prior.

Walking silently into the shop, a strange new creature seemed to take her time as she looked around. She had wings that seemed to stretch out slowly in a dark manner, and her eyes glanced around in sharp movements as if she felt like something was watching her. Moving towards the chair, she jumped into the lap of a woman with short blonde hair. Curling into that lap, she folded her wings in and closed her eyes, relaxing as her tails flailed in the air.

Final smiled to herself and slowly stroked the child of her second dream, just content as she wondered how everyone had been while she was gone with her dreams.

Floating on into the shop, Alaynia glanced about the room as she held her youngest sister in her lap.

The youthful Yudou glanced about with wide eyes and a curious flick to her tail. She found a human there, and something else which she had never seen before. Seeing as her voice was louder than her sister''s she called out in greeting "Are you here to find someone?"

"...Atashi... you are being silly again" a whispered scold escaped Alaynia. The deejarne seemed to have grown a bit thin in regards to the constant questioning from this one about her special someone.

Turning her gaze onto the deejarne and the yudou, Final seemed to smile ever so softly and just looked towards them as the bundle in her lap shifted ever so softly, and she looked to them, "I am afraid I am not searching for a special someone, mearly just enjoying the silence after a long trip away from home..." She shifted and looked towards the deejarne with a confused look. Somehow she felt as if she should know the strange deejarne, but sadly all she spun up was a blank, maybe she had heard about it somewhere before.

Mania shifted once more before lifting her head, her eyes turning to gaze lifeless at the two before her. Her wings spreading, she jumped to land next to Final, folding up her wings once more as her tails slowly danced behind her. Sniffing lightly, she let out a slow smile, her eyes darkening as she took in the deejarne, "Are you Melantha?" She asked suddenly in a soft voice, though it was more held back than anything as Final looked away at the question.

The rabbit-earred dream looked to the creature with nubby horns upon its head and curiously looked at it. For once, she remained rather silent and merely just observed.

To the young creature before her, she answered "...I am deemed Alaynia. I am not Melantha... though I did spare with her one time a while ago..." Her ocean blue eyes glazed over a bit as she took in the creatures form. The leathery wings and three sets of devil-like tails only gave her a hint that the creature was similar to the lair-lord. A nightmare of sorts. Flicking at the pale feathers beside her ear, she asked the human in her very soft voice "...where did you find the little one?"

Final smiled brighter this time, before brushing her fingers through Mania''s hair, "This little one is the result of my dream''s breeding. She is the daughter to Evvy and her friend River..." She looked towards them and sighed, "I know she looks like a nightmare, but she is special...I dont think she is like every other nightmare..."

Mania looked to Final and didnt pull away, instead she moved to glance right at Atashi, her eyes dark and her face lifeless. She had a feature just like Candle''s only it was filled with more darkness or shadows. Her tails waving, she tilted her head after a moment, her gaze shifting to Alaynia.

"You have seen Melantha?"

"...she looks like the one called Kannan..." Alaynia uttered in a nearly haughty fashion. To the young nightmare, she responded "I have only seen her once. As well as her sister once. Why do you ask?"

Her dark eyes remained upon the greyish creature''s, holding far more interest and life in them. "...do you remember something?" was the question which Atashi squeaked out.

Mania watched both of them with her own dark gaze before she snapped her eyes alone towards the other corner before she curled closer towards Final, "I have heard many stories about my aunt, though I have yet to see her...she was someone who could no accept a loss...and in her defeat she fled to seek protection and training from a dream like me..." She had no idea who Kannan was and had no ability to make the connection, so she mearly moved on to look at Atashi, "I only remember what I was told...the tales my mother told me as a young whisp..."

"...to accept a loss is to learn from it. If one doesn''t accept a loss, they shall not learn." To Alaynia, it was obvious that there was plenty of bias which the young nightmare had encountered. It was obviously some sort of foolish pride which the whole family seemed to hold. She had sensed such with the lavendar Deejarne as well as the sunset-colored one.

A whole family of fools she thought to herself, not even daring to make anymore conversation.

The dream in the Deejarne''s lap seemed to wilt a bit at the statement in regards to memory.

"...oh..." Atashi had been hoping perhaps to find one who dealt with the same thing she did, which was remembering things in which she was certain she had never dealt with before.

Mania glared suddenly at the wink, her face turning away, and snorted, "Melantha is a strong warrior in her own sence, but from her loss she learned it was time to grow, so she left thoes who were holding her back to be a better person." She glanced to Final, "She knew her family was here waiting for her, and would accept her decision, but I have decided myself it is well past the time in which she should be gone, she must be found. I am to look for her." Her voice was filled with a sence of urgancy, knowing that her family missed her aunt dearly. Glancing to Atashi, she kept to herself after that, just watching her before noting the door opening, her favorite dream walking in with the bellowing scarf of night around her.

Candle walked into the room to nod towards the child of the family, before her eyes perked at Atashi''s form. Purring to herself, she looked around at the strangly full room.

Candle moved towards the small chair near the corner where the male dreams were, her tail flicking back and forth as she glanced towards Mania while she passed. Jumping onto the chair, she curled up and looked around at everyone, just watching them with a keep gaze as she curled up towards one corner of the chair.

"...foolish bias..." she uttered as she then set her little sister to the ground. Seeing as the room was filled with what she considered to be inferior foolish creatures, the Deejarne set herself to floating far higher than usual, so it seemed like she was lingering at the ceiling.

When set down, Atashi looked around the room. Why was she set down? Finding the answer relatively shortly, Atashi almost seemed to toddle towards the other Yudou.

"...Candle, Candle, Candle..." she said softly as she nuzzled her friend''s cheek lightly.

Turning her face towards her friend, she hopped down as the smaller one moved closer, resulting in being brushed in the face as she looked towards the others once more. Her gaze lazy, she just watched them for a moment before curling closer towards Atashi.

Mania looked towards the Deejarne before shrugging and jumping to land, her wings spread as she seemed to hover a moment. Her tails snapping and her eyes sharp, she moved towards Candle to leave the deejarne and the human alone.

Smiling a bit when the gentle gesture was returned, Atashi whispered "Candle has been good, yes?" In a friendly and nearly intimate gesture, the younger looking of the two Yudou began to groom the other one to the best of her ability. Licking lightly at the fur behind her friend''s ear, she began to purr gently.

Candle seemed to just let the other one groom her as she glanced to where Mania was walking over, letting her head tilt as the licking seemed to cause a purr come out of her as well, though deep and relaxed as her voice brushed across the room. ''I have been well, I have been searching Nowhere, though have yet to find my special someone...though we have yet to look together, maybe we shall have some sort of luck...'' Her eyes looked towards Atashi as she waited for her to finish licking behind her ear, before she moved to nuzzle the creature in a gesture of welcoming and thanks.

From where Final watched, she turned away from her dreams to look towards the floating Deejarne, and sighed softly, "So you are the one Mel lost to..." She smiled sadly and rested her hands in her lap, waiting for a reply.

Once she had finished, she nodded her head and said "Yes. We must search Nowhere. Atashi wants to help Candle find her special someone just for her as well as find Atashi''s special someone just for her." Her child-like naivety really did seem to shine at the moment as she smiled to the other.

Responding the human to explain the truth of the matter, Alaynia found no hesitance in saying "...it was a draw... no victor... I was somehow revived and she remained out... but it was a technical draw..." Her fingers went behind her head and tossed gently at the dark hair.

Final smiled to herself, "A loss is a loss...even Mel knows that, and she tried to accept it in her weird own way. She doesnt like the idea of being weak, she sees it as a fault that in the future might harm thoes she loves, so she runs. It is sad what she does in her actions, but that is what makes her...well her...she is stubborn and she looks for what she can do to improve herself. I think though she might have found something more this time..." She smiled softly.

Candle smiled to herself, though it was well hidden, and she signaled for Atashi to sit, ''We will find them someday, but I shall help you out as much as I can...'' She tilted her head as her eyes shined, her tail moving and her beads clanking, she brushed against her in a friendly way, ''We will find them soon.''

"Seeing something so foolish as a friendly spar as a loss is hardly a loss. To allow one''s pride to be so harshly ruined by such a small thing is weak... not the actual defeat." Pausing a bit, she glanced to the woman and huffed in her whispery voice "...your family makes excuses and biased stories to glorify her where no glory belongs." Knowing that her sister knew the way home, the Deejarne signaled that she had grown annoyed by leaving the building and floating her way home.

As instructed, she lowered her pale haunches down. Her smile seemed to grow when her friend stated such a thing. "I am certain we shall..." she said without any doubt in her voice. Once more, a soft purr escaped her as Candle brushed up against her in a familiar manner. Her own tail flipped about for a bit before attempting to gently wrap about her friend''s.

Glanding to her hands, Final let the Deejarne''s words float throug her mind, "...not all of them..." She shook her head and leaned back, her eyes glancing towards the ceiling as she just sat there.

Watching for a moment, Candle seemed to laugh softly in her mind before her tail aided Atashi''s in the curling, hers wrapping around half way as she moved to curl against her friend like she did days before. Watching the deejarne go, she looked worried towards the bunny-like dream, ''Your deejarne is leaving...'' her voice sounded with a slight hint of sorrow, she did not want her friend to leave so soon.

Atashi had heard others call her sister such a fancy title before, but she never called her anything so complicated.

"...she does not like to be out too often. She prefers to stay home. My big sister has gone to Nowhere before, but she said she doesn''t like that place either..."

Though her sister was heading home, it didn''t seem like Atashi was planning on doing the same, for she remained seated. In fact, she got even more comfortable and lay herself down. Her simple little dress poofed up a bit as she did that.

Candle blinked as the yudou spoke and just let her eyes droop in a sort of smile, falling to lie down next to her with a sort of snuggle as she still had her tail wrapped around the smaller ones. Sighing to herself, she set her face on her paws and looked around slowly, getting warm at Atashi''s side.

Her eyes began to droop a bit as she grew much more comfortable. Feeling no hesitance in her voice or thoughts, she plainly stated "I like Candle... Candle is good." She glanced over with her deep brown eyes and could feel a slight blush reach her cheeks.

Candle looked towards her with a blush as well, though it was hidden behind her scarf, and she blinked for a moment. Taking in the words, Candle than smiled before nuzzling Atashi slowly, ''I am glad to be liked by someone as special as you Atashi, you are a true friend...''. She than continued to nuzzle her and felt her scarf slide from her face, her smile slowly showing.

Purring gently, she pulled her face close to her friend''s and began to groom the now revealed muzzle before her. However, the cute moment didn''t last long, for Atashi stopped and pulled her face away once more, her eyes glazed over. It seemed as if she was remembering something once again.

Feeling the grooming suddenly stop, Candle blinked before nuzzling her softly, her eyes questioning as she watched her friend still. ''Atashi...are you alright? Atashi...'' Her eyes were narrowed as her beads clanked and she stood. Shivering she put her paw on her friend''s, growing worried as she seemed lost to all contact. Her tail falling away, it brushed against the ground as she sat there, watching. All she could do now was just wait, and wait she did, unsure of just what was going to happen next.

Atashi remained still for a bit. Yet once the beads of her friend''s necklace made the faintest sound, the dream spoke in a voice like she was reading from a children''s book. The words seemed to connect to the words she had said the most recent time, revealing more about the special person just for her:

If that person
Takes the time to find what makes me different from the others...
If he likes me because I''m me...
If that happens...
...We may be able to become something a little different from before.
I may not have to lose what''s most important to me...
...like last time.
What''s most important...
What''s most important to them and to people...
...Is something precious...
...something you can''t lose.
The proof that I am who I am...
The special proof.
That proof will tell me who my someone is.
That special, special...
"...someone... just for me."

Once more, the rabbit earred Yudou grew silent before she suddenly blinked. Her eyes returned to their usual soft, yet lively color and she looked around. Finding Candle''s face nearby, she nuzzled into it someone emotionally.

"...I don''t want it to be like last time..." she whispered softly.

Candle watched with a wide gaze for a moment as the words echoed through the room before she blinked, the yudou moving towards her and into her as she felt the child-like creature nuzzle into her fur. Taking a deep breath at the final words, Candle nuzzled back softly to her friend and whispered into her mind ''It doesn''t have to be...if you have the will and the desire to make it different, than it wont be like last time...'' she pulled back to look down at her with a soft gaze, amazed at how complex her friend was becoming, though not pulling away when Atashi needed her at her side.

Atashi whined a bit, still seeming uncertain as to what would happen. Her body trembled lightly almost as if she had become a frightened creature.

"...Candle believes in me..." she whispered softly, almost as if it was a mixture between a question and a statement.

Nodding, the yudou of desire kept close to her friend as she once again wrapped her tail around the others. Purring deeply, she nodded slowly and glanced into Atashi''s soft eyes, ''I believe in you Atashi, I want you to find your special someone and be happy.'' She smiled softly and nodded, shifting again to move closer towards her friend as a sign to show, which hopefully Atashi would see, that she will always be there to help her.

Her soft trembling stopped when the other drew close and comforted her with gentle caresses of the tail. Turning to Candle, she once more began to groom the other''s muzzle, this time without being interupted. Her licks were soft and child-like, and soon enough she stopped on her own.

"...thank you Candle..." she said softly as she then nestled into her friend''s side with a faint sigh.

Candle blushed lightly at the gentle and soft licks that Atashi was dealing while grooming her, but soon smiled to herself as her friend nestled closer. Remembering this action from before, she curled close as well and quickly nuzzled the yudou behind her ear, giving a second to try a stab at grooming but only feeling foolish and just moved back to brushing her cheek against her friends. ''I will be here for you whenever you need me...'' She whispered softly, though no sound came from her mouth, it was a whisper like a breeze that was sent out to Atashi''s mind and ears.

Up by the side of the fireplace, little Atashi sat, a book at paw. Her eyes brushed over the pages, finding a very familiar figure as well as words which were just as familiar. It was called The City with No People, and the words were identical to the ones she first remembered with LizzyMoo.

"...when will I find that somebody just for me?" she sighed gently as she closed the final page. The child-like dream had been meaning to go to Nowhere to look, yet she had not done that yet. She also had been wanting to see her friend, Candle. It hurt a bit in her heart a bit thinking about not seeing the other Yudou.

It would seem that the pain was a familiar one, for just the sudden pang she had felt was enough for her to recall something. Her eyes seemed to glaze over a bit as words found their way out once more.

Once, long ago, I lost something precious to me.
I went through...
...something very painful in the past.
Even now, my heart hurts.
Something very, very painful.
Even now the pain still lingers...
...from when I lost what was precious to me.
But I am still searching.
Still searching for that thing most precious.
I am me.
I am one of them.
Because I am me.
Because I am not a human.
Even so.
Because it is so.
Someone who loves me because I am me.
Someone who I'll love because he is him.
The "someone just for me."
I know that...
...I am you...
...and you are me.
That's how I know that...
...Inside of me, I'm one full person.
I am happy when that person smiles.
I am happy when that person is near.
Yes.
I am happy...
...when that person is happy.
That person is special, different from other people.
You found it!
The thing that makes that person special...
...that makes him different from the rest... is that he is him.
I found him.
The person that's precious and special...
the "someone just for me."
I hope that person finds them.
The things that he can't do because he is him.
The things that he can do because he is him.
I have found him.
I fell in love with him because he is that person.
Hopefully he will find them.
The things that I can do because I am me,
And the things that I can't do because I am me.
That person will find them.
And then...
...Hopefully he will love me...
...because I am me.
Out of all people and all of them...
I want him to find me.
And I want him to love me.

Upon the last word, her eyes returned to their normal lively manner. Glancing to and fro at the other household members who might have been looking, her small voice squeaked out "...do I already know my special someone just for me?"

No sound responded nor claimed an answer to that question. Sighing gently, the dream went back to her reading.

It had been a disaster, working to get all of the small village out of nowhere before the storm hit, but somehow the yudou had managed to help her family in doing it. Tired from a long night of fixing the place back up, Candle had been more than happy to go towards the small shop on the beach, her paws soar and her tail dragging lightly. She had been looking foward to the break, and the shop had always been a great place to relax, if not inside than out on the warm sands. Already they had helped her aching paws heal lightly if only in the mentality. Pushing her way up towards the steps, she pounced to the top one and paused, moving to open the door.

Inside the shop was one of the youngest looking Yudou. Huddled up in the corner of the room with her small star-shaped pillow and her book "The City with No People," she read over the pages silently. Though her deep brown eyes had read over the pages multiple times and she had the words memorized by heart, she couldn''t help but feel drawn to the story. Eventually, a soft squeak of a yawn escaped her. Tilting her head back to release the small sound, it caused her crown to tilt once more, causing the ribbon the shift slightly as well.

She hadn''t really noticed anyone enter the shop, though in reality her dear friend had entered. Atashi was just that intrigued with her storybook.

Candle paused as she heard the soft squeak, and her eyes immeaditly locked upon Atashi''s form, her gaze softening at the sight of her dearest friend. Moving silently across the room, she let her head lay low and her scarf drag against the wood as her ears flatened. She knew she wouldnt be able to say anything, but once she reached Atashi''s side, she let her actions speak and just moved to gently grip the crown in her teeth, pulling it up to place and moving to sit, glancing towards the book with a questioning look and letting her eyes smile.

Feeling a slight tug to her head as her friend readjusted the ornament upon her head, she finally glanced over to find a familiar face. Her child-like voice called out "Candle!" as she somewhat purred gently. She smiled a bit as she rubbed her cheek against the other''s cheek.

"...Atashi missed Candle..." she said softly after she finally pulled her cheek away. However, she finally noticed at this point that the other was looking at her book.

"...It''s my book... it is the first thing I remembered and my guardian had the same book... so my guardian gave me the book..."

Candle purred deeply and moved her cheek against her friend''s, a small smile crossing her face from under her scarf. As soon as Atashi moved away, all she could do was stare silently at the book, her ears perking as she listened to what it was. Moving to look down upon it, Candle turned her head, her eyes lidded as if she were remembering something, though it was her soft voice that keyed in upon her real feelings.

''...the pictures caught my eye...but alas...I cannot read the words...'' she did not sound ashamed, but more like saddened at the fact she could not see what her friend loved.

Looking down to her book once more, she flipped the pages between her small paws until she was back on the first page again.

"I read for Candle!" she stated simply. Placing her paw beneath the word and tracing under each word as she read it, she merely read off the title.

"A City with No People."

She looked up to her friend smiling, looking to see if there was approval or not to her reading the story.

Watching the pages fly and moving closer towards Atashi, Candle found herself moving to curl next to her friend, keeping her warmth and sharing her own as well. It caused a deep pur to escape her body, and her eyes continued to stay lidded as she whispered through their minds.

''...you really do not need to bother with it, if you have other intrests...'' though she did not tear her eyes away or move away from her friends side, hoping Atashi would not move from her own, she would not know how to react if that happened.

"I want to... Candle needs to know Atashi''s story!" she declared as she also made herself a bit more comfortable at her friend''s side. A small, yet completely contented purr escaped her as she then went back to reading. She flipped the page and continued to read, her paw tracing beneath each word.

"In this City...
... there are no people.
The lights are on in all the houses,
But, there is nobody on the streets.
Are there people inside? I peek in a window to find out..
There are people.
But they are with them."

Candle blinked and nodded slowly as Atashi read, wondering just why she had called it her story, but soon answered her own question. With every word Atashi spoke, Candle was rememinded of the trances the smaller yudou had been in weeks before. It caused her to become silent in appearence as she just turned to look at the pictures, and she couldnt help but wonder just where this story came from.

Atashi''s voice remained quite calm as she continued. It was even apparent by the pictures in the book that it really was her story, for the most noticeable character on each page was a rather simply drawn rabbit with a hooded dress and long draping ears.

"...I look in other houses.
These people are with them too.
This city is just like all the rest.
Being with them is fun.
More fun than being with people.
Nobody comes outside anymore.
There are no people in this city..."

Unable to speak, Candle only moved to nuzzle Atashi, keeping her eyes on the paper and settling her head down on her paws, content with the idea of just watching the story and listening to the yudou beside her read. It was strange, the way the story was made, and yes she had noticed the simularities of the two, but had no way of saying anything. She was kept silent by the tale, and had no time to think, rather content with listening instead.

"...I will leave this city and go to another one.
I hope that I will meet someone.
Someone just for me.
But if that special someone falls in love with me...
...I will have to leave that someone.
Even so, I want to meet with that special someone.
This is what I think as I leave the city with no people."

It was the last page and soon Atashi glanced to Candle with her tail wagging lightly with childish delight.

"Did Candle like my story?" Her head flopped onto the small star-shaped pillow, but her eyes were eager to get an answer.

Glancing at the book, Candle had heard it, the saying Atashi had come to her for one day. It was her story, her story of her search to find the person ''just for her''. Surprised and stunned at the same time, she took a moment to gather her thoughts before turning and smiling, her eyes glowing as a sign of her contentment.

''Your story is something that I will always remember, as well as your part in it...it makes me want to help you find your special someone just for you...makes me really wish to help you...'' It was true, seeing this, Candle couldnt help but want to help only that much more. Purring, she moved to nuzzle her friend.

''Thank you for reading it to me...''

"I know Candle will help me find my special someone just for me, just as I will help Candle find her special someone just for Candle!" She purred and closed her eyes in such a cute manner, then nearly seemed to mew. When nuzzled, she eagerly returned the gesture.

"Did Candle miss Atashi?"

Candle purred to herself before looking towards Atashi''s soft eyes, ''I have missed you, yes...I have been working in nowhere at my new home...though nowhere has changed...it is not safe anymore...'' She glanced to Atashi, knowing full well that it would not be safe for the dream to travel in nowhere as it was unstable. Sighing, she shifted lightly.

''Atashi...what have you been up to while we have been appart?''.

"...work... home... Nowhere..." the younger looking of the two Yudou repeated. Her tail flicked a bit with interest as she readjusted herself a bit again so she could get a better look at her friend. "...not safe?"

Atashi had still yet to even visit Nowhere, so she had no clue about the drastic changes that had occured. She wanted to ask why the place of dreams was no longer safe, yet instead, a question was sent to her.

"Atashi has stayed home. Atashi remembered something while reading her story, but now Atashi doesn''t remember too good..."

She paused a bit, then couldn''t help but ask "...Does Candle like Atashi for who she is? For what Atashi can do and for what Atashi cannot do?"

Candle just sat there looking at the book, before she looked towards Atashi once more. The younger one seemed to be clueless in the happenings of nowhere, and Candle was unsure if she should say anything and thus did not. She simply just waited for the answer to her question, and was somewhat pleased.

''I am proud that you remembered something, Atashi...''She curled close towards her friend, and listened to her continue. Blinking silently, she just took a moment to contemplate, before looking right towards Atashi''s eyes.

''...Atashi, you are the only one who listens to me...accepts me...you are my friend, you the one dream who I can trust and rely on...I like you for you, your faults only make you a better friend in my mind...So yes, Atashi, I like you very much...''

A rather big grin spread upon her features as she got her answer from her friend. Snuggling into her friend''s side, she couldn''t help but feel warm inside. It was something which seemed to calm her greatly. Her words were soft as they soon came out, but they almost seemed to reflect the warmth which seemed to well up inside the young looking dream:

"Atashi likes Candle because Candle is Candle. Atashi likes Candle for what she can do, and also for what Candle cannot do. Candle is Candle."

Nodding her own head at the simple, yet profound statement, she went back to purring and nuzzling into her friend.

"...I feel safe..."

Blinking as the smaller one moved closer still, Candle shifted to let the angles alow more room, and couldnt help the deep blush that warmed her features, her ears catching the soft comment and warmth that filled the room with Atashi''s words. Here she was, with her one and only friend, and as she sat there nestled next to her, she could feel this warmth fill her being. Her heart seemed to race slightly, and she felt her blush grow.

There was someone out there that actually cared about her, and accepted her for herself, besides Final that is. It was all amazing really, she never thought someone could stand to put up with her emotionless state, or would not get annoyed with her not being able to speak, but here she was with someone who told her she liked her for her. As the purring filled the room, Candle caught Atashi''s comment, and looked towards the door before moving to settle against her.

''I feel safe too...'' She whispered softly into the minds, her eyes lidding as she moved to push off her scarf, it settling like another pillow in front of the two, ''I always feel safe with you Atashi...''

The warmth inside of her seemed to create a slight reaction. Her innocent nuzzling seemed to cease just close to the other''s ear, and her eyes seemed to glaze over again. Her words turned into a hushed whisper, but still held onto the story-like tune which usually came with her memories:

This feeling inside of me...
...Is very soft.
But sometimes it hurts.
I become full of this feeling when I think of that person.
Do you feel that way about everybody?
No, only when I think of that person.
What happens when you''re with that person?
I get warm...
...Like I''m glowing inside.
What if you can''t be together?
It hurts.
It really, really hurts right here.

Pausing from the words, her paw reached for the other''s and guided it to be set where Atashi''s heart beat within her chest.

Like you''re about to die?
We can''t die.
We can''t die because we''re not alive.
Perhaps not.
But it feels the same as if we could.
Because we are them.
I hope we can be happy someday...
...when you find your "someone just for you."

Candle, with her scarf down and her mouth revealed, simply just gazed wide eyed as soon as Atashi started to speak, noting from familiarity that Atashi''s voice had changed. She had remembered this change from before, and could only swallow as the tale was spoken, her ears flatening though still keeping track of the whispered story. This time was different however, this time it was just herself and Atashi, next to eachother, and Candle could easily keep track of the words said, her eyes unblinking as she tried to keep her face from worry.

Her friend had never spoken such deep words, and when she felt her paw being grasped, Candle let out a soft gasp, feeling the warm pulse under her friend''s fur. When the story was paused and all she could tell was that it was her and Atashi, the words spinning through her head as she could hear them echoing. All she could feel was the heat from where her paw touched her friend''s heart, her eyes unable to tear away from her friend''s form. Would there be more? She could only wait and see, but she was not about to interrupt if there was, she had no idea what could happen.

One could have easily thought she was done there, for it almost sounded like the small story had pretty much wrapped itself up. Yet, the soft and gentle "...but..." came out of Atashi''s lips, signaling she was still not finished:

...But...

...If we don''t become happy...
...If the "someone just for me" knows all the things I can and cannot do because I am me...
...And he still doesn''t chose me, then...
Then...
...I will have to decide what to do...
...About you...
...And about us.
What is wrong?
It hurts.
If the "someone just for me" does not choose me...
...I''m afraid the hurt right here will be so bad...
...That I''ll stop working.
It''s a powerful feeling, isn''t it?
A hurt so strong it can cause you to break.

There are no people in this city...
...But...
...But through their windows, everyone looks happy inside.
Are these people truly happy?
And...
...Are they truly happy?
I am surrounded by people who stay inside with them...
...But I am alone as I walk through this city with no people.
All that I want right now, more than anything else...
Is to be with him.
The glow inside is brightest when that person is near...
And the pain inside hurts more when he is away.
I am the happiest when I think of that person...
...I am saddest when I think about that person.
That person makes all my feelings more intense.
That must be what love is.
So please...
...Let the person that I love...
...Be the someone just for me.

Silenced, Candle just blinked a moment before moving in to nuzzle her friend, not knowing what words to say. It all seemed so easy at first, but the story, it was so...hard as well. Atashi was a puzzle that Candle had yet to peice fully together, but as these tales and these books appeared, she learned more and more about her friend, though only through the cryptic sayings. Letting out a deep purr, she decided all she could do was that, not knowing what to say. After a moment she pulled away and searched Atashi''s eyes, wondering if she was still remembering as she whispered softly through the minds, ''...Atashi...''

At first, her eyes remained somewhat dulled. Yet eventually, a soft blink followed by one rather large and nearly exaggerated one seemed to wake the bunny-eared dream.

Upon the utterance in her mind of her name, a small squeak bubbled out of her throat, shortly followed by "...Candle...? Did I just remember something again?" Her eyes were wide and quite innocent, for she had forgotten what she had just remembered.

Candle simply let out a light breath, her lips lifting as if she were going to speak but no words came out. Sniffing lightly, her ears fell and flattened against her head as her eyes looked towards Atashi''s.

''...Yes...you remembered something big...'' She seemed to just smile to herself as she whispered this, her tail moving back and forth slowly as she wondered what Atashi would say about the fact that she hadn''t remembered her memory, or so it appeared.

Had her ears not been already weighted down by the long draping rabbit ears around them, they would have drooped slightly. Her head went down and she almost seemed to sniffle in a sad manner.

"...what did Atashi remember?" came the slight whine, frustration seeming to actually build up slowly upon her childish voice.

"...Atashi wants to know what she remembered..."

Sitting there silently, Candle moved to push up on her forepaws, sitting up straight as she slipped her neck through her scarf. Her gaze, which turned towards the window in a calculating manner, shifted slowly back towards Atashi, and slowly Candle spoke out, as if talking about business now.

''...would that...would that be what you desire more than anything else?'' the yudou asked, her eyes seeming to glow as they shifted shades every few seconds. This was it, this was a test, though she was unsure why, but this was a test to see if she was indeed the yudou of desire.

Remaining upon the floor, Atashi shook her head from side to side. "No... it''s not what Atashi wants most... Atashi remembers but doesn''t remember... but sometimes the memory stays hidden..."

Turning to her friend, she stated "...Atashi desires most to meet her special someone just for her, to be with her special someone just for her forever and always... if my special someone just for me doesn''t want me though..." Her voice dwindled off softly as her paw went to her chest. Holding her paw there as if she was in pain, she remained silent.

Candle watched her for a moment before turning away and shaking her head sadly.

''It is a powerful feeling isnt it...'' She echoed softly, not looking to see Atashi''s reaction to her repition of the words, ''A hurt so strong it can cause you to break...'' She swallowed hard, as if the words were forced out of her mouth, though she had said nothing. Closing her eyes, she continued, not stopping, ''Your memory is of how you feel...you were warm inside, and you felt what most would call true love...but you also feared this feeling, because if the love was not returned, you knew that the hurt would...distroy you...a broken heart...'' She looked towards Atashi and felt horrible, knowing she did not explain the memory enough and feeling bad for it.

Her deep brown eyes seemed to flicker lightly at the utterance of the words which she herself had spoken just prior. Yet she still was quite attentative. Seating herself upright, she took in the description her friend provided.

"...being warm inside... is the feeling of true love?..." she slowly asked, her eyes upon the one who now had her back to her. A faint pain was in her chest, but she tried to remain strong as she kept her gaze upon her friend.

Shifting lightly, Candle looked away, shaking her head slowly. She moved her paws lightly and lifted one, touching her chest softly where her heart was, feeling the warm beat as she smiled.

''Love...is not just warm inside, you can feel warm with family and with friends. But it is when that warm goes from your heart to warm your whole body, all on sighting the Someone just for you, that you know it is love. When pain hits and makes you stop for a moment, because of that someone having to leave...you know it is love. That warmth, it is simply the thought of always being with that dream...knowing that you are willing to stay by their side forever that it is love...but love hurts too Atashi, when you cant see your Someone and you get an ach here...that is a sign of what love can do to you when it hurts you...'' She sighed softly, setting her hand down.

This time, when she heard the words her friend gave her, it helped her far more than Candle could ever realize. Fully aware of what she was saying, she brushed over some key thoughts which had returned from her memory: "This feeling inside of me... is very soft. But sometimes it hurts. I become full of this feeling when I think of that person. I get warm... like I''m glowing inside. If the ''someone just for me'' does not choose me... I''m afraid the hurt right here will be so bad... that I''ll stop working. It''s a powerful feeling, isn''t it? A hurt so strong it can cause you to break."

Smiling softly, she padded up to her friend''s side and began to rub her cheek upon Candle''s. A soft purring escaped her as she carressed the cheek of her friend with her own.

"...Candle..."

Blinking in amazement as Atashi spoke the words once more, she couldn''t help but pick out how different it was from before. Moving to stand, she paused as Atashi moved closer, her ears perking and her tail swinging softly. Eyes on the yudou''s form, Candle swallowed before echoing the purring with her deeper purr. Rubbing her cheek with her friend''s, she nodded slowly.

''Yes Atashi?''

Looking to her friend''s face with a big smile, she announced "...that is how I feel about you! When I am with you, I am glowing inside brightly, and when I am not with you, I miss you more than anyone else." With yet another rub of the cheek, she then began to softly groom the other Yudou''s cheek.

As she licked the other, she eventually stated "...Candle is Atashi''s special someone just for her..." Her purring was far more content than any sound the young-looking dream had ever made before, and the smile upon her face seemed like nothing could even cause it to shatter.

Atashi''s words started up slowly, and already Candle knew what she was going to say. It had been apparent before, but as the smaller dream slowly spoke out the words that stunned her, Candle could only blink and listen to the purring that trailed off after the announcement.

Listening and feeling the light grooming that the smaller dream gave out, Candle slowly thought to herself, her eyes lidding in concentration as she reviewed the feeling. Atashi had stirred a warmth inside of her from the start that no one else had, and had always been there to keep her company and help her cheer up. Decided what to do than, Candle turned and moved to let out a deep pur, her body moving close to Atashi''s as she just nuzzled her face into the yudou''s fur.

''Without you, I wouldn''t be able to live...you complete me Atashi...'' Candle said simply, ''...if you would alow it, I would like for you to be my special someone too...I know that no one else deserves that title but you...''

Pausing from her grooming, she listened to the words her special someone just for her had to say. If it was even possible, the glowing deep inside her grew even warmer. Closing her eyes and seeming to take in all the emotions and words she was feeling, she nuzzled into Candle''s form a bit, as well as allow her pale tail to intertwine with the darker shaded one.

"Atashi is Candle''s special someone just for Candle, and Candle is Atashi''s special someone just for Atashi." A faint blush came across her nose and cheeks, for the warmth seemed to spread even further within her.

Nodding slowly, Candle tightened her tail around Atashi''s and used the tip to brush it softly, her ears flattening in contentment as she watched the smaller one''s cheeks and nose get darker. Letting out a soft laugh, she moved close and settled to rest next to Atashi, keeping as close as she could.

''Yes Atashi...we finally have found our special someones...though we were right in front of eachother this whole time...'' Her caress seemed to hold a chuckle in it as she gently licked Atashi''s cheek, a smile slowly building on the edges of her her lips.

Her deep brown eyes opened to find a gentle face to greet them. She nodded her head slightly as her special someone explained that they had been with each other the whole time. Her blush deepened a wee bit more, but she didn''t seem embarassed at all. Instead, the younger looking of the pair seemed to grow slightly more bold. Seating herself upon her hind legs and lifted her forepaws up. Setting them upon Candle''s shoulder in a sort of hug, she then drew her face close to the other''s. Gently with her teeth, she tugged the scarf away from the other''s face. She purred softly as she then planted a small kiss upon the other''s maw.

All Candle could do was blink as she found her scarf being pulled away and the other dream planing a kiss upon her. A blush flitering across her features, she just looked towards Atashi with a questioning gaze, a childish look that showed her innocence. Her ears flattening, she moved with a silly grin and pounced on Atashi, playfully of course, her intent to pin the smaller dream and return the effectionate action with a soft one of her own.

A strange mixture of a giggle and a purr escaped her as her friend suddenly sprang upon her. Having full trust in the other Yudou, she knew there was no mal-intent upon the simple tackle. Being such a petite creature, she was easily pinned beneath Candle. From the mere tussle, Atashi''s crown slid down from its usual place once more and clattered onto the ground. However, it didn''t matter to the Yudou of memory. She merely kept a rather large grin upon her face.

Letting a soft smile stretch across her face, Candle just looked down at Atashi before lowering her maw to brush it across the other''s in a soft carass, moving to nuzzle Atashi as her hold loosened. It seemed so perfect, time seemed to just stop for the Yudou as she descoved she desired nothing more than to be with the other, to be with her Special someone just for her. It was funny, because it was Atashi who had shown her everyone had a special someone.

'' ''tashi...'' Candle mumbled softly in her mind, grinning to herself, ''You will lose your beautiful crown one day if you let it fall like that...'' She just looked at the other with soft eyes and let her free, moving to lift the crown with her teeth like the other had done with her scarf.

Purring softly, she closed her eyes for a moment and softly nuzzled the other a little more before she was released. As the other pulled away, her eyes opened up and blinked curiously. She soon enough saw her crown within the other''s mouth. Remaining upon her back, she playfully batted her paw at the decoration she normally wore on her head. The younger looking of the two giggled a bit as she continued to play.

Watching Atashi silently, Candle soon enough pulled the crown just out of her batting, letting it hover as laughter sparkled in her eyes. Surprisingly it was light in her mouth, and she just looked at it for a moment.

''Atashi...'' She asked softly, becoming serious, ''Do...you remember why you have your crown?'' It was simply a question Candle asked to know her special someone, and as she asked she moved to curl close to Atashi, resting her head close to the other''s and setting the crown on Atashi''s chest.

Pausing from her childish giggles, she blinked with wide eyes upon hearing the question. She rolled her eyes upwards a bit as if in a bit of thought, then closed her eyes and shook her head from side to side.

"Atashi doesn''t remember... my guardian found Atashi with it. However, it feels like it is a part of me..."

She inhaled deeply as she curled her neck a bit about Candle. The crown which was now on her chest moved up and down with each breath. Her eyes once more searched for those of her special someone as she found herself curious of something.

"...Does Candle have something that she has had since she was young?"

Letting the smaller one curl around her, Candle felt secure and safe, warmth filling her as she just watched Atashi's chest, the raise and the fall catching her eye mearly because the crown was upon it. Smiling to herself, she nuzzled her cheek against what part touched the other's and sighed to herself.

'I am afraid I do not, Atashi...I got my beads and my scarf when I became an adult...but otherwise...I only have faint memories of my past...though the most vivid ones are ones with you...' Call her sappy, but it was the truth, all her memories were the ones spent with the other yudou.

Nodding her head in understanding, she chirped "Atashi's favorite memories are those she spends with Candle. Atashi remembers the kindness of her family, but she doesn't treasure the moments like she does with Candle."

The younger looking of the two remained flopped on her back, mainly because her usual head decoration was placed somewhere which restrained her a bit. Eventually, she curled her neck up towards it and looked it over with wide eyes.

Blinking to herself, Candle moved and settled her head next to the crown in an intimate gesture, her eyes warm and caring as she nodded softly, purring deeply. Taking the crown in her mouth, she lifted her head up once more and moved to settle it upon Atashi's head once more. Looking around, she tried to find her scarf that had been taken off earlier.

'We have yet to make more memories together, Atashi...' Candle said softly.

With her crown back on her head, the smaller of the two carefully rolled herself back to her paws and soon was standing up. Her tail wagged in a nearly canine manner as she bounced about her special someone, her voice filled with much glee.

"Many, many, many more memories! Many more with Candle and Atashi!" Stopping for a moment in front of the other, she leaned in and licked the other's lips, then went back to her childish movements, spring in each step of hers.

Blinking and watching, Candle could only smile as Atashi sprung about around her. Tilting her head slightly, her ears fell to the side as she waited for the other to finish circling to right in front of her, where she would step to block the path and circle Atashi once. Finishing her circle, she rubbed her side against the other's, and moved to encircle her tail around the others as well, before purring deeply.

'Once I know Nowhere is safe, Atashi, I will take you there where we can explore the new world and maybe find more about ourselves...' In that comment, she of course was reffering to the idea of finding her powers, something she wanted to do and wanted Atashi to be there at her side when she found them.

Her own tail wouldn't stop movement, and continued to wag about within the grasp of the other's tail. Her head bobbled up and down, nearly threatening to have the crown upon it to topple back off again. "Yes! I go to Nowhere with Candle. I go there with my special someone just for me! You go there with your special someone just for you!" She purred lightly, but soon enough cut herself off. Instead, a soft childish whining replaced it.

"...I want to go now... but Candle says Nowhere isn't safe..."

Suddenly taking on a worried look, Candle moved to rub her cheek against Atashi's, her eyes closing as she continued her purring.

'I know you wish to go now, but please understand, if you were to get hurt, I would not be able to bare it...' She looked towards the younger one with a soft smile, though her eyes showed the fear of seeing her special someone hurt, even if her face was emotionless. Usually others find it hard to catch, but thoes who know her enough know just where to look.

Looking into Candle's eyes with her own brown ones, she found a small frown soon weighing down her own face.

"...Candle's eyes look like they are going to cry..." Moving closer, she stretched her neck up slightly and pressed her lips up to the other's. Her tail calmed down finally and merely caressed to the best of its ability onto her special someone's.

"...no Candle sad..." Atashi said in a soft whisper upon Candle's as she finally pulled away from the soft little kiss.

Pulling back a step when Atashi moved to look at her eyes, Candle found herself surprised as Atashi had grown bold, realizing that the younger one was also the more expressive one of the two. Finding herself closing thoes sad eyes, she leaned into the leith kiss and opened her eyes once more to glance at the other, finding herself silenced as she just looked towards the ground.

'I cannot help it...just the thought of harm to you makes me ach inside...'

"...but... Atashi is here... Atashi is safe... Atashi no harmed..." Her speech was quite simple, but vocalized exactly what she wanted. Once more seating herself on her hind legs, she once more threw her paws about Candle's shoulders for a hug.

"...Atashi safe..." she whispered into her friend's ear, still maintaining her gentle, yet strong hug.

Candle looked up towards Atashi as she spoke, and moved to lean in towards her warmth, purring deeply and just closing her eyes. As she sunk into the relaxed state, she moved to look towards Atashi's eyes.

'Nowhere is covered with icy water...it is unsafe even for Yudous...I want to stay here with you Atashi, where it is safe and warm...' she smiled softly before pulling away slowly and nodding towards a pillow by the fireplace, where there was a small fire roaring, signaling with her eyes that she wanted to lay with Atashi there. She was getting tired.

"...oh... no is safe..." was the simple and still rather clueless response. However, seeing her friend signal with her eyes, she nearly seemed to bounce in place, despite the fact Candle was in her hugging paws. Releasing the other, she reached down and picked up her little star-shaped pillow, but then found that she couldn't pick up her book. Whining a bit at the dilemna as she looked from the book to the pillow in her mouth, she seemed to make absolutely no progress.

Watching with her same soft gaze, Candle simply moved and picked up the book, walking past Atashi with a wave of her tail and smiling towards her as she went. Moving to jump to the pillow, she curled up towards it and set the book down, right away from the fire with her between the two, and her mouth opened to a light yawn.

A smile found its way to her mouth, despite her small pillow being there already. Trotting along behind her friend, she set down her smaller pillow upon her book, then promptly went to snuggle into her special someone's side. She purred softly and whispered softly "...Atashi love Candle..."

Moving closer, Candle nuzzled Atashi with a soft smile, 'I love you too Atashi, I love you too...' And with that warm, soft statement, Candle slowly let her head settle, her eyes drifting shut as she soon drifted to sleep.

Some crazy things have been happening lately. It is a bit scary. I randomly found a sword while cleaning out one of the closets... it looks like it could really do some damage if placed in the wrong hands. Good thing it is a normal size sword, or I might worry over a certain one of my children getting his hands over it and ...yeah...

Atashi has been spending more time away from the house. She might be the biggest of all my dreams now, but she is still one of the youngest at heart. She has told me of her "special someone" as she likes to call her, but I have yet to meet this Candle. It is difficult to catch everything Atashi says, but she mentioned something about "Yudou of Desire" or something of the likes. I don't get it, but that's okay. As long as little... well... not so little Atashi is happy.

Ansuz has been staying home more of recent, despite the fact she is originally from Nowhere. She's been playing with the various others in the house. Language doesn't seem to burden her at all, maybe it is because she still seems to have her own barriers which she lives with. She's made great friends with my first Feli, ManxManx. Such a silly oaf of a Feli she is, but really is quite friendly. Those two have been playing non-stop recently, and the cabinets can only handle so much candy being stolen out of them at once. I fear what may happen if they get too hyper at once.

Alaynia now... I don't know where she's at. Maybe she went out on a journey of her own. Perhaps I should be more worried, but for some reason I am not. I think she's always been the most mature and capable of the three. I am sure whatever she is doing right now, she is fully capable of doing. Though I must admit, I know she must still have her priorities the way she's always had them... which is beauty comes first. She took all her feathers she's been collecting along with her other trinkets with her. I would complain that the household seems quiet without her, but that would be a blatant lie.

OH CRAP!!! I gotta go... ManxManx and Ansuz just knocked over table again!!

She had been skulking about ever since she had been formed so long ago. Her host was no longer within the household, and he had been missing in action. Yet her whisp which had been formed so long ago had remained. She grew painfully slowly, and out of the sight of nearly all, save for a silver-helmed Manx cat. Yet the feline had no questions of her. She would merely glower on occasion, but nothing more. The room which belonged to her host was perfect for her development. It was silent. It was dark. It was perfect.

One evening, when there was practically no moonlight to guide anyone, she'd step out of her sanctuary. She was a fully grown creature of the size of an adult human. She was anything but a human though. Her crimson eyes which matched that of blood looked about in a cold and nearly calculating manner. Her eyes were the same color as many of her markings and the blood-like stains upon her three devilish tails and her two horns upon her head. Her wings were pale, save for the markings which resembled that of black crow-like wings. Wings upon wings. It was strange, for there were only three colors upon the pelt total: the purest of white, the darkest of black, and the most suspiciously blood colored scarlet.

As she made her journey through the household, she was so silent in everything she did, one would have never been able to tell she was there. Yet, it wasn't long before her nearly none-existant steps ceased as she turned to gaze upon an item. It was a sword. It was simple, with its brown handle and silvery blade, yet it was something to which she apparently seemed drawn to. Perhaps that was the reason she went outside? None would never really know, for she soon enough turned herself back around, and just as silent as the shadows which surrounded her, she'd return to her sanctuary. The only hint in which there had been a visitor was that this sword which she had now claimed as her own was now with her instead of out upon display.
