We have one in our band! We have only 15 people, and we have an Alto Clarinet. Ironic! She's in my class.. But she's really full of herself. confused

I've played Alto Clarinet since my freshman year of high school. I love it SOOO much!
I've even made it to Districts and Regionals on the Alto Clarinet. I tried out for Districts for the third and final time today and there was 5 (yes, you've read right) Alto Clarinets. The most they'll take is 4.
But considering that most of the Alto Clarinets really suck (except me), I think I got first chair Alto Clarinet in the bag.
EDIT: Today, I found out I did NOT get first chair. Lost it to a sophomore boy. I don't know which chair I got, but there's a chance I didn't get in.

well theres a lot of different keys of instruments out there. like the trumpet that you normally hear is a Bb trumpet, but they have a piccolo trumpet and C trumpet and more. But i think thats why you dont see many other keys of instruments than whats normally there.

I'm going to be the only alto clarinet player in my school district next year. gonk At the region band auditions there were only 3 people who tried out on alto It is really unpopular, and I think that's stupid because it's REALLY fun.
