Avey 1. I still don't want to, I know I could if I wanted to, but I don't want to, simple as that. You can't force a person to choose what they want. I know I would feel attracted if I cared enough, but I don't. Also, I am a Christian, and I won't go off and perform an act like this just to prove another person's point. I know I can't force you, and I'm not trying to. I even said in my post: Quote: Obviously you don't have to do it, but I think it might clarify some things if you do. And didn't you just contradict your entire arguement about homosexuals being able to choose by saying Quote: You can't force a person to choose what they want. ?

No, I didn't contradict it. You were just trying to use that fact to prove homosexuality like that, even though overall, I really could care less about the same sex, and I really don't feel like forcing myself to be attracted, because simply enough, I don't want to. It has nothing to do with my sexuality, but a decision I put upon myself.
As well, just to point out, I like Ten's theory. :3

I disagree with both parts... I think that you are born with the ability to go either way, and it is your heart that decides who you are attracted to... You are not born homosexual/heterosexual... You are born 'you'... Everything else that comes after that is just simply force of nature...

I think they either adopted it or that was the way they were. For example I have very accurate hand movements, resulting in good piano, videogame, and drawing skills. I can trace the history of my hands as far back as I can remember, so it's safe to assume that it's the way I am, and I really don't think it has anything to do with certain neurological connections in the brain, because I think it exists to physicalise thoughts (thoughts are in a spiritual form) and distribute them to the body, and regulate nonvoluntary body actions. Same goes for choice, opinion, homosexuality and several other traits. They adopted it or that's the way they always were.

I suppose it's time for my two cents worth.
Firstly, being straight myself, with a bisexual lover, and many friends of each sexuality, I can safely assure you I am in no way homophobic, and I should hope not to be considered biased in any ways...
I'm not entirely certain it's by choice, I suppose a small percentage of it could be by choice, because I myself am a little on the boy crazy side (meaning I get crushes, but not anymore, happily with my luffie!) I have also at times found myself having an almost more than friends admiration for my best friend. But part of me wonders if that's merely best friend closeness.... sweatdrop
But really, I agree with the spectrum idea, people are born on a certain point on the spectrum, and they go from there!
