Hobbies: art, drawing painting etc., movies, making them watching them critiquing them. ANIME duh. Music mostly rock and techno but i'll listen to anything with a good beat. I work alot and hang with my friends so i guess those count
Otakon:: This wil be my fifth otakon. My first i walked around with a sign reading TAKING OVER THE WORLD HELP WANTED i came home with about 200 email addresses on the back of the sign. My favorite parts of otakon are all the people, taking pictures, the dealers room, and the dance/rave. I also like meeting some of my favorite web-comic artist!!!

Hobbies: I like drawing manga, but I can only draw females so far. I write stories on fanfiction.net, all about some kind of anime. You can't be a manga-ka if you can't make up stories, right? Everyone starts somewhere. I love the computer and music, in fact, I'm listening to one of my playlists now. I can't really listen to music without getting on the computer. My favorite animes are Naruto and Death Note, though I like other series, too.
Ect: I live right in Baltimore, so getting to the annual con is no problem. This will be my second year at Otakon, or any con, for that matter. Last year I went as Gaara from Naruto, and this year I'm going as L from Death Note. I have this thing against wigs, so I cut and dye my own hair for my cosplay outfits. I wear glasses, I have since I was about nine, and I can't go anywhere without them, so I'll be VisionImapred!L this year. Last year, leaving my glasses in the car and being ompletely unprepared wasn't the best idea... So that's why I'm determined to make this year perfect.

Hi I'm pretty new to Gaia, but I've gone to a couple anime conventions, hoping to get to know Otakon better. I like to draw, and cosplay some, although it's hard to make a lot of things, so I tend to make accessories that make it more obvious who the character is. ^^ Hi!

Greetings! I'm the powerful and mysterious Dark Rahl (you may call me Chris, if you wish), here to tell all that will listen that I shall be making an appearance at Otakon this coming sumer as Auron! I'm 18 years old and I've been on Gaia for quite some time. If you want to look for the exact date, check the profile. My hobbies include hanging out with friends, reading, video games, music, bass guitar, and possibly some other things that I don't feel are quite that important.
This is going to be my first time at a convention, but I'm sure it'll be loads of fun. Anywho, lookin' forward to goin' to Otakon this sumer!

Hobbies: Hmm, well I like to draw and write. I also like to read and listen to music. Music makes me very happy! I love anime. I have so many favorites like Over Drive, D.Gray-man, Naruto, Bleach, etc.
Etc: Otakon 08 is gonna be my first con and I can't wait. I've been wanting to go to the Otakon since 05, but I haven't had the chance. Now, I can finally go and I'm so excited!

Ect: i didn't make it to otakon this year, but i was there for '05/'06 and i had a great time. i loved seeing everyone in costume and finally being able to find anime goods (even tho the prices could be high). i plan to go next year cos it's fun to just escape with your friends, even tho we kept losing each other. 4laugh

Hobbies: Watching kdramas, animes and other asian movies. Working and designing things.
Etc: I've been going to con for the past 5 years. Haven't done a major cosplay outfit, just haven't had the time to put one together with work and school. Most of my friends go each year so we always have fun. Especially in the small rave room on fridays and saturdays! I'm half korean, so getting into anime and anything asian just helps with getting to know some more about my heritage (even though i know anime is japanese). Hopefully I will see some of you at con!

Hobbies: Well, cosplaying, reading, writing, sculpting, uh.....learning languages but hasn't been successful so far.
Ect: I guess the reason why I went to Otakon is because my first year I heard about L'Arc~en~Ciel performing and so I got a chance to go after intense negotiations with my rents. Now I've gone every year after that ever since because it's like a vacation~
In my future, I'm hoping to be a writer or a florist.

Join Date to Gaia: back in 2003, but I abandonded it for a long time until I discovered it again this year!
Hobbies: listening to japanese pop/rock music, watching anime, reading manga, drawing, movies, playing piano...
Ect: I first went to Otakon in 2007, but have wanted to go since I discovered it's existance back in 2001. I also attended Otakon this year (200 cool and hope to continue going for many years to come!
Cosplay: so far I've only cosplayed as Sailormercury from Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon (the first anime I watched back when I was 12!) and Nuriko from Fushigi Yuugi
