And as for your questions, and those saying they don't celebrate the western version of the holiday in Japan, check this out. On the whole, though, they don't really celebrate it. Like Mexico has The Day of the Dead, Japan has it's O-bon festival.

I would just japanese-ify the english phrases.
Trick-or-treat: トリック オ トリート! (Torikku o tori-to) Happy Halloween: ハッピ ハッロウイーン (happi harroui-n)

ohh...The 'pi' looks like a 'bi'. I understand, but no, I put it into my japanese program where it makes the characters bigger to check and make sure, and it is 'pi'. The small(ish) font just makes it look that way.

Hmm, perhaps, but for some, it's the only place they can find info, so you just gotta use what you can get.
