And it's pretty essential to playing classical guitar music. Tab just can't give enough information - I'm still learning how to read sheet-music - I mean, I've been able to read it for about nine years, but I still occasionally come across a symbol that I've never seen before.

Yes, it is difficult at first, but there's really no substitute.

i have a friend who is a clairinet player that is helping me with sheet music. i play guitar and piano but cant sight read for either. i guess thats probably all irrelevent. odes anyone know any good websites with information about playing classical guitar question the only thing i have found is an article written by dan cross at about.com

sheet music isn't really available for free online. you are going to have to go to the store to buy anything of quality, or go to the library. i usually go to the library, but for now, this might help you out: http://www.classtab.org/
