"Oh, this wasn't a natural state for her. She fell and and hit her head on a rock and now has some short-term memory loss problems," Aiodhan chuckled, watching Dekko as the Pegasus seemed to wander away in mind. "She still is quite sweet-natured."

"It is, and it isn't. We're definitely spoiling him with all of the attention, but I think we've spoiled all of the kids that way. With the exception of Kayce, of course, who doesn't want attention..." Amyla trailed off, glancing at the tree Kayce had disappeared up into. Speaking of Kayce, where was the girl?!

"Ah, I wouldn't be surprised..." Dekko said with a smile. All Pegasi were sweet-natured. Or perhaps that was himself, idolizing his breed over all in his mind.

Sheva shrugged, smiling. "Well, there's two sides to everything." She said with a nod, her gaze following Amyla's at the mention of Kayce. "Say... where is she?" She wondered, voicing aloud the thought that was most probably the same one as Amyla's at the moment.

"You should come over and meet her sometime. I think you'd like her," Aiodhan remarked, tail swishing back and forth behind him. Then he noticed the searching look on Amyla's face and blinked in confusion. "Who's she looking for?" he muttered.

Amyla gave Sheva a bemused look. "Really, I'm not sure. She climbed that tree before," the woman said, nodding her head at the one tree among many. "But I don't see her up there, and she hasn't climbed down yet." Turning, she glanced among the trees for sign of her fae daughter.

"I really should." Dekko bobbed his head in agreement. His eyes fowllowed Aoidhan's look over to Amyla and Sheva, tilting his head. "Huh..." He took a quick scan. "If I'm not mistaken, your daughter Kayce."

"I'm sure she's fine." Sheva said with a reassuring grin. It was just a park after all, and kids got into all sorts of trouble. It was a wonder, really, that they managed to live to adulthood.

"You're welcome to. I'm sure every male being on the property would be nice to see the levels of male hormones increase. Too many females about," he said, pulling a face. At the mention of Kayce, he simply shrugged. "Ahhhh, Kayce is fine. She can climb and knows self-defense."

"I know she is. I'm a mother, though, so I still have to worry," Amyla sighed. She turned her attention to Caleb, lightly tapping a finger on the boy's nose. "Where's your sister, Caleb?" Where's Kayce?"

The infant boy chortled happily, kicking his feet and tipping his head back to look straight upward. "Aaays! Aays!" he giggled, apparently looking for his sister as well.

Dekko chuckled. "Are things really that bad?" He shook his head with a laugh, thinking of his own living situation. "I'm sure Sheva would disagree with you in regards to our living space. Too much testosterone around, that's what she thinks." He rolled his eyes. Looking over at Sheva and Amyla, he shrugged. "It appears Amyla is rather worried." He said after a moment's study at her face.

"Well, I know what you mean." Sheva agreed. It was natural to feel worried, even when it was obvious that the worry would be resented later on by the child. She smiled at Calebs antics. "Well, he sure is cute."

"Yeah. Me and Caleb are really the only two males, besides Ezhno, who spends most of his time out hunting. And the only other males are mostly feral creatures who stick around the house for shelter or protection. It's rather female-filled around our place," Aiodhan said with a sigh. He gave Dekko a jealous look. "Lucky you. I'm drowning in estrogen-"

Whatever he was about to say was ended in a startled yelp as something dropped out of a tree above him. Shocked beyond all reason, the dragon-man very nearly launched himself into the air, his wings opening and closing behind him. "Kayce! Don't do that!" he managed to get out as the fae girl gave him her customary blank expression.

"Cute and stubborn," Amyla said with a sigh, looking rather relieved when Kayce made her unannounced appearance. "There you are! I was wondering where you had disappeared to!"

Cooing happily, Caleb reached out his arms in his sister's direction. "Aaaays! Aaaaays!"

"I do have it easier than some." Dekko grinned. He almost shied away as there was a yelp and Kayce fell from the tree nearby. "Huh, you'd think she'd be more considerate about fallin' out of trees like that and scaring everybody." He said with good humor. Somehow, he'd never quite expected Kayce to be the type to fall out of trees.

Sheva started at Kayce's falling, but did little else, standing by with a smile. Ah, young creatures.

Having landed upright and safely on both feet, Kayce was unharmed and unruffled by her father's response. She gave Aiodhan and Dekko a polite inclination of her head and then headed in her mother's direction.

"Yeah, I think you do..." Aiodhan managed after a moment, tail whipping about agitatedly behind him. When he got home, he was going to strangle that fae for scaring him!! GAAAH! "Nah, Kayce really isn't one for consideration. She has the attitude of a cat. She does what she does, and if you don't like it, then that sucks for you. Really, she isn't a bad kid at all. She just.... doesn't care."

Amyla gave Kayce a look, which the fae promptly ignored. When the girl held out her arms to hold Caleb, her mother simply sighed and set the infant in her arms, rewarded by the immediate smiles from both kids. "I think I'm almost ready for another practical child. My oldest two spoiled me," she said rather glumly to Sheva.

Dekko chuckled. "Well, I'm sure she'll grow up fine."

Sheva laughed. "Eh, all's good. At least she helps out, right? Cause if she didn't, I'm sure you'd be carrying Caleb all day."

"I sure hope so," Aiodhan said with a massive sigh. "The moment of truth is quickly approaching."

Amyla nodded, watching Kayce tickle Caleb's nose. "Yes, she does. I don't mind carrying Caleb at all, really, but it is nice to see that she care about something or someone. "

((I think maybe we should end the RP for the while? -saw teh babehs- Oh, gawd, I think I could just die from their cuteness! xD We should get the kids together for a playday xD))

"Ah, they always do. Unless they turn suicidal, but even then it can be turned around." Dekko said, smiling at Aoidhan's sigh.

Sheva smiled. "Oh, I'm sure it is." She said with a nod. She looked up. A dark cloud had passed over the moon, and something in that moment made her feel... She didn't know. But it wasn't a great feeling. She looked uneasily at the stars. She had always told the time by looking at the heavens. And by looking up, she could see what was written in the future. "Looks like rain..." She muttered with a shake of her head. "I suppose that means we'll have to get going. It was great meeting you Amyla. Mayhaps one day, we might get together again?"

Dekko seemed to sense something. He looked over at Sheva grimly. "Looks like she wants to leave. And... rain?" He chanced a peek up. The moon had almost been covered by a thick black cloud. "Well, Aiodhan, it was great chattin' with you. And maybe we can have an outing or something soon? We could bring Kar along too." He said with a wink, remembering the look on Aiodhan's face when they had talked about werewolves.

((Mmkay! heart --just saw the babies tooo-- Eeeeeesocute! Definite playdate sometime!!))

"Thanks, Dekko. Just what I needed to hear," Aiodhan drawled, giving an exaggerated roll of his eyes.

Amyla watched Sheva look up. The she-wolf looked... uneasy to Amyla's eyes. Worried, perhaps, about her mate? "Rain, huh? I think we'd better get home too. It was wonderful to meet you too, Sheva, and... wait..." she trailed off, digging through her bag until she found a pen and scrap of paper. Scribbling something down on it, she added, "For a future get together, here's our address and phone number. I'd love to get together again, and if you ever need female company, call me. Our house has plenty." She finished writing and held it out to Sheva.

"I think Amyla's about ready to head home too. Probably tired," Aiodhan said. He perked up considerably. "An outing sounds wonderful. Please, do bring Kar. He sounds interesting!" the dragon-man said all-too cheerfully.

Sheva grinned, taking the paper. "Thanks, I'll keep it in mind." She said with a grin.

"Here she comes." Dekko said as the white she-wolf turned toward him. "I'll remember to." He agreed with a nod. "But I'd wear extra padding if I were you!"

And that was that.
