I got a concussion from one of our bass drummer's hitting me over the head really, REALLY hard on accident with the drum sweatdrop

I have been marching for 5 weeks now on a messed up knee. My instructor found out Saturday before a competition and got really scared (I'm section leader and first chair clarinet). It was funny, though hurts a lot considering our first song is at 180 tempo and out last is 168. Another member broke her foot before band camp and then yet another member of the clarinets sprained her ankle, thoughs he is back on the field.

Luckily the worst I've been hurt is falling on my a** while marching backward and conducting. That was a great idea on my part. stare

I think the worst injury I've seen is a clairnet just totally twist her ankle a good 180 before being hit in the ribs by the other clarinets back marching.

It was horrible. We heard people shouting and finally someone said something the drum major could here and we stopped.

She was out for the season. crying

I call it the "Flying Trumpet"
last year a freshman trumpet player tripped during a velocity drill and my back hasn't been the same since.(neither has his trumpet)

I couldn't march for a week because I got a knot in my right calve because of the excessive marching. It hurt to walk or stretc or anything. I was bed ridden.
