Hey, I'm a tuba player. Ever notice how many girls have posted so far?
Seriously, this year at my school, there are three tuba players and all of us are girls.
Anyway, I've been playing for about 7 years, three of them in high school. Carry that sousaphone with pride!

exdraghunt Hey, I'm a tuba player. Ever notice how many girls have posted so far? Seriously, this year at my school, there are three tuba players and all of us are girls. I'm the only one, but the guys In my section are cool (Most of the time)
I've been playing for 5 years and whenever I meet someone and I tell them I play the Tuba they ask me how I carry It! (I'm 5' 9" but I'm smaller that the other Tuba players) I just grin and tell them "Its a Tuba thing" heart smile
